Excellent Dr. 12/12/2011

Dr. Arihood is a very no-nonsense vet. He cares about the animals that he tends. I appreciate that he is the business for the love of it...not the $$$. There is not a lot of unnecessary fluff in the building. Excellent care. He doesn't over prescribe or try to do unnecessary proceedures to cost the customer. Instead, he treats the illness or injury of the animal. I would recommend you visit, if your first priority is your pet. more

SCARY! 5/10/2011

I took my dog here and was told he had "puppy flu". He was only 4 months old and had diarrhea and was puking. The doctor gave him some pills in a pouch and he just got sicker. When I took him to another vet they told me he had PARVO! They tested him and showed me the results and gave me medicine that made him better and fluids under the skin. At least I could read the labels at the new vet! I will NEVER NEVER come back here. Totally shady more

Dr. Arihood, is excellent vet who truly cares about the animals he serves. He has an interesting personality that adds to the atmosphere of the place. You will not find a better price on services anywhere. more

Dr. Arihood, excellent vet 4/8/2010

Good: Very clean exam rooms, surgery, and the crates in the room where the pets spend their time was disinfected and spotless. Dr. Arihood is a little quirky, but he is knowledgable and very helpful. He's a good guy and treats the animals well. He's definately not in this to get rich, bless his heart.. Bad: Absolutely no complaints.. Improvements: My dog likes to watch HGTV, and she complained that there wasn't a TV in her room.. Other: Dr. Arihood is very reasonable with his prices, doesn't charge an arm and a leg for his services, and loves these animals but doesn't pamper them and get totally stupid and overboard like other vets. He charged 1/2 of what the other vets wanted to spay and give shots to my Lab.. more

It's not plush, it's not a boutique for pets, it's plain,it's no nonsense- the Vet. is all business, quick, and a little eccentric maybe...he might remind you of the dude on sling blade???(I think people don't get his odd sense of humor)but he did a fine job with our dog gave her all her shots, washed her ears thoroughly and ear medicine all for $65.00 we were quoted 175 elsewhere. heck of a deal. It's across the road from goodwill by 350, little plain brown building that kinda looks like a garage. When we walked out the waiting room was full. He closes at 5:30. If you have a prissy pup & owner- this might not be the place for you. But we'll go back. more

The google direction is WRONG!!! 9/7/2006

The map of google is totally WRONG!!! I went there today and was totally lost for nearly an hour. The google map led me to the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Here is the right direction: If you go 231 south, you should turn left on E 350S, go east and then you can see a new walmart. Turn left on CONCORD Rd., then you can see Fairfield Ct is right around the corner, where you can easily find Pet Medical Center. more

Good and fast service 10/21/2005

Pet Medical Center is a nice place to go especially for those who can't afford to spend a fortune to keep their animals in good health! He is VERY reasonably price and friendly to all animals. The establishment isn't as nice as some of the pricier veterinarian clinics. He has low overhead (he is the only one who works there) so he can afford to charge much less. His practice is limited to only cats and dogs. more
