Horrible Service Mean Staff except for the Receptionist 4/16/2012

Took my pet in for emergency she ingested snail bait, when i arrived at the facility I was told there was a fee of $70.00 then $450.00for critical care. My baby brownie was taken in the back. I couldnt afford the $450.00 at the time. I asked where they going to let her die or not treat her I was told no. Later I was given two options one to take her home against medical recommendation or two euthanize her. Later I was given a third option one of the techs wanted her and I needed to sign away my rights. After I hesitated and stated that was a horrible offer. I was treated very cold hearted, I was told to take her home now being told she had a 50-50 chance. After being told she would die at home, they brought her out shaken and I was forced to euthanize her then give her remains to discard myself. Horrible place no love I even asked to make payments, volunteer, clean kennels I hate this place! more

Excellent Care! 10/10/2010

Awesome staff, great service. Obviously not a place where I want to be, but hey things happen. Had to take my cat in some time back, and they did a great job with him. I have a lot of respect for staff and how they deal with the jerks that come in there and give them nothing but attitude. Hey idiots, its a emergency hospital, its going to cost a lot of money. Just like if yourself ends up in ER, it cost more then a regular doctor's visit. But of course we don't think about that, because insurance or in some people's case, the state pays for it. The difference between human doctors and animal doctors is that animal doctors don't drive fancy cars and live in mansions. They don't make that much money. If you are going to have a animal, assume the responsibility that goes with it. more

What a life saver this place is. I had the occasion to need to bring my dog here once after he got bit by our neighbor's dog on a Saturday when all other places were closed. The vets were wonderful. They took care of my dog and immediately reassured me that he was going to be fine. The only negative is that they are expensive. more
