Horrible 10/21/2009

This pet store is awful, not only do the animals live in horrible conditions, but, the employees are the biggest assholes i've ever met before. I used to run a retail store and if any of my employees had treated any of my customers like this they would have been fired. You guys suck, do not shop here. more

Terrible conditions for dogs 8/27/2009

I was at South West Plaza yesterday and there were several other shoppers standing out front of the store greatly disturbed by the pathetic conditions that this pet shop is keeping it's animals. These owners care about their profits and not their pets! There is overcrowding with many pups confined in small plexiglass cages. I would like to see this place lose it's license to sell dogs. If you care about dogs boycott this store. There were at least 50+ dogs in this shop of all ages crowded and stressed. Lets speak up against this pet shop until they change their ways - the dogs can't! Sincerely, Concerned Mom (and no I am not an extremist or crazy- This place is bad news.) LETS DO SOMETHING! more

A Kid-Friendly Pet Store 2/28/2006

I can remember always being excited to go to the mall as a kid, as shopping was synonymous with going to the pet store. The pet store in Southwest Plaza, Pet City, was always a great pet store for kids – and, as a testament to its kid-friendliness, it’s always filled with children wandering from cage to cage, followed by weary parents. Pet City tends to keep their small animal cages fairly low to the ground; whether intentionally or accidentally, this allows children to easily see inside the cages. Pet City also keeps many of their small animal cages open at the top; despite their policy that customers must ask prior to handling animals, this allows people to interact with the animals much more than most other pet stores. Whether you are shopping for a new pet, or simply visiting the pet store as a reward (or bribe) for good behavior while shopping with your child, Pet City is the pet store for you! more
