I can't believe how unprofessional this place is. I always prefer to try a local business, even if it's more expensive. However, my experience there was horrible. They kept putting me off after I placed an order. Then when I did get the product, it was in terrible condition. They refused to make it right. I'll never go back & I'll never recommend them to anyone. You can't trust them or the people that they hire to do custom jobs. Don't get screwed like I did. more

I have dealt with Perspectives on and off for 35 years - I ran a small painting operation called Amanda's Painting for a few years and my personal experience found their service unmatchable and their price and products very good - since my time as a material coordinator with the University of Kentucky they have remained one our the Universities strongest and best vendors. more

best color matches, best variety of products, the willingness to find new or hard to find products,return policy. overall, very hard to find a business with as much customer care. not to mention that you walk right in the door and get waited on (like the old fashion hardware store) more

I have purchased paint and supplies from Perspectives for over twenty years. The staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgable. Anytime I have the option to choose the paint I will use on a job, I always choose Coronado paint. I love this place. more

Best paint & wallpaper store in Central Kentucky 11/15/2011

We do custom kitchen, bath, and flooring for clients where we often run into issues such as stained drywall from water damage; prior work that was badly done; and needing to custom match paint or stain colors. I only use Perspective's. The people know what they are doing, service is outstanding, and the quality of the products let us get the results we demand without extra work. IMO, in the overall cost of painting or staining the cost of materials is much less than labor. I'd rather pay $5-$10 per gallon more top quality than use cheap paint, get cheap results, and have much more labor involved to get decent results. more

Pro advice, great service 11/15/2011

I love the fact you can take your paint and wallpaper problems and they have the correct solution on the first trip. They have a huge selection of paint, wallpaper and all the extra tools needed to complete your project. While there one day getting paint, I noticed window blinds - we were just moving into our new house so, i had them come out to measure for all the blinds. I had so many things to do during the move, I just told them to do the best they could because we had some odd size windows. When we arrive with our truckload of stuff i was amazed every window was complete and the whole place was tidy. Really trustworthy folks, you will love them!! more

The service is really good especially for paint. Good selection of tools and good quality. The wallpaper selections they carry in stock are not the best. The artwork they carry is really awful. The frames and mats don't match the picture sizes so they don't look professionally done. There's too much of it and it makes the store look tacky. more

Perspectives is staffed with very competent people who know their job and stay there. I have been doing business with them since 1994 and noticed that the same staff are there and they are loyal. That is a good sign for any company! I have also noticed that they will always recommend the best product for the job and not to try to sell me off shelf stuff which does not work. I have appreciated their caring atmosphere, the wiling to work with you and in general to know that they are a trustworthy company and that I enjoy doing business with them. I've worked out there with Perspectives Inc. for probably thirty years since they had the other owner. I've been satisfied. They sell paint and I buy their product. They do a good job with personal service. Perspectives Inc. is very good at matching paint, which most companies don't do. You can bring in a fabric or anything in there and get it matched. That was the main reason why I started going to Perspectives Inc. A lot of customers need specialized color they can't just get from a deck. Another reason I've been going to Perspectives for this time is that a lot of the people that work there. A lot of people have been there for years and years. You not only have a work relationship with them but a personal relationship to a point. more

I've been a customer of Perspectives for 20 years. I started off in the painting industry, and the previous owner of Perspectives was especially good to me, which is why I established my loyalty to them. Jason bought the company several year ago and most things stayed the same, while some things changed, but overall my experience there has been generally very, very good. I have a good relationship with him and the other guys I mainly deal with as a contractor on a day-to-day basis. more

Don't waste your time, go somewhere else!!!!! 3/17/2011

The most expensive paint in town by far, and truly after using it I found myself wondering what was so special about it. Also the mood of the store (mostly employee's) was very depressing, no smiles and very little greetings. I was not impressed at all, I had to give them one star in the ratings, but really they don't even deserve that. By the way that one gallon of paint almost cost me $50.00, so unless you are rich I would not even consider going. Home Depot sells the same thing for half the cost and you will get better service if you can believe that. more
