Person Street Pharmacy

While I have not tried the food, the pharmacy has always been helpful, courteous and fast. The presciption prices may also be the best in Raleigh. They also accept the free drug card from freedrugcard.us which helps save even more money. This may be one of the last true drugstores in the land, and I for one will remain a devoted customer. A breath of fresh air in a country that is rapidly losing it's identity to ever growing giant chain stores. more

I have limited funds and I have to search for the best pharmacy prices I can find. I have found Person Street Pharmacy to always be the pharmacy with the best prices. They are compassionate about my situation and work with me to spend the least amount possible on by prescriptions. They have an old fashion soda fountain that also has good prices with very good food. The people are very nice to the customers and always are friendly and have a smile on their face. I would urge anyone with limited funds who has to pay for their medicine to try Person Street Pharmacy. more

Person Street Pharmacy is an old fashioned pharmacy like I grew up with..it has friendly service and great food. It is a corner drugstore that fills prescriptions quickly and is concerned about your health. They have customers that have traded there for 50 years. The food is excellent at the soda fountain and they still serve chicken salad, egg salad, cherry cokes, and real milkshakes. I think that if you give them a try you will always be a customer. more

The food services personell are great people,the owners are great people,but I do not agree with the Pharmacy side of service,since Mike has been out of the shop others are lacking in quality services to the public.forgotten orders,temperment issues,avoiding discussing recomendations form the Pharmacist,that is old news to them and they act as if they should not answer any of your questions.\r Heaven help you if you need to talk to a lady named Nancy about anything.It is like tossing water on a Halloween cat and your children will be cursed for life. I highly recommend food department only,Pam and her associates are super,try to stay away from the Pharmacy side of the business,they do not welcome local and continuing patrons from the neighborhood.I have been going in there for over 20 years and there is always an issue.I am moving to a different Pharmacy next month. There are very few pharmacies like Person Street Pharmacy left in business. It is the classic corner drugstore. It still has a soda fountain which may be the only drugstore soda fountain in Raleigh. The food is very good and the service is excellent. It falls in that category "where everybody knows you name" because it has that family atmosphere. It is a pleasure to frequent this pharmacy and to be welcomed as a friend instead of just another person that has be be waited on....I love going there!!! The pharmacy service at Person Street Pharmacy is excellent. In addition, the pharmacy maintains an old fashioned soda fountain which serves excellent food. Choices include: egg salad sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, hamburgers, milk shakes, orange ade and lemon ade. The food is excellent and a good value. I highly recommend this neighborhood establishment. more
