The Perkins County Veterinary Hospital is a companion animal hospital loacted in southwest Nebraska. The hospital was opened in 2000 by Shannon Jensen, DVM. Dr. Jensen is a graduate of Colorado State Univeristy with an undergratuate degree in Equine Science. We are a companion animal hospital, that is dedicated to a variety of domesticated animals such as dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters to name a few. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house radiograph and ultrasound capabilities, in-house blood testing and lab, a closely supervised hospitalization area, a grooming facility, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise pen. We also work closely with CSU for referrals when needed. At the Perkins County Veterinary Hospital we strive to provide optimal medical care and compassion to help you give your pet the best quality of life. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy. We treat your pets as if they are our own.
