Hyper Coffee is, despite its name, original and non-pretentious. It offers a refreshing sophistication to the humdrum area of the SGV east of Lake Avenue. The owner is friendly, flexible, and always presents himself attractively. The service is likewise dependable. Loyalty to repeat customers and community involvement characterize this attractive coffee shop with a newly-opened back patio.
As a veteran coffee shop employee, I commend their espresso shots and the creativity of the espresso bar menu.
Panini sandwiches are also great. My particular favorite is teh Chicken Caprese and the all the vegetarian options.
