Performance Chevrolet

I had my 2000 Chev. Blazer repaired for front end work, and when I brought in the car they gave me an estimate but didn't give me a WRITTEN estimate. ??? Why would ANYONE take a car to someone without getting a written estimate? When I asked for one they looked at me like I was crazy. Then, the car was not ready when promised and I DID NOT GET A CALL ABOUT IT! They only told me when I came in to pick it up. I had made an appointment, came in early to drop off, and they did not even START on it until around 3pm. Guy said the night shift would finish it and be ready in the morning. I was really really irritated (I'd like to use another word, but this is a family site). THEN when I finally did pick it up, they added a $35 "shop fee" to the bill. I had to do battle with them for 45 minutes to get it removed. The fee was not on the original estimate (THIS is why you get a written estimate). What a gargantuan pain in the arse. Never again with these guys. I just had the feeling I was just another mindless customer that would roll over for being treated like a slug. more

Purchased a new 2011 Chevrolet 1500 4x4. The Customer sales representative, Nic, was very knowledgeable and the Finance Manager, Woody, was very helpful as well. I do not purchase vehicles very often, but this is the second truck that I have purchased from Performance Chevrolet and both times have been no hassle. I would buy from them again more

The only Chevy dealer around willing to find the truck I wanted, my salesperson Debra was great. It's also the place where I service my truck, which because of it's size I could no longer do at my regular local mechanic, who recommended them to me. They are always very professional and helpful, and their shuttle service is great. If I have one suggestion for a better service experience, it would be this: While they are always very professional, I often feel that I'm dealing with a big company, and I don't usually get the feeling that they know me and my vehicle, which I miss after coming over from a smaller local shop. If they could take the time to review my service history before or when I come for an appointment, we could talk about the service needs in a more collaborative way, and make recommendations and decisions based on mutual knowledge. As it is now, it feels like all the info. has to come from my side, which is a lot of pressure on me if I'm very busy. I would like to be able to discuss my vehicle service history and needs in a better way. more

What a great buying experience from Performance! I was shopping for a car for my son, and from the personal attention from the General Manager, Gerald, to each and every person in the buying process, John, Nic, and Woody, my son was in his new car within the week. The price was great (they even found another GM incentive that I didn’t even know I had, which saved me another $1000!). The car was detailed, ready out-front the dealership when we arrived to pick it up, at the time we wanted, and my son was shown all the details on the car while I finished the paperwork inside.
