2014/05/27 23:55 - MrPeters writes:\r I took the VolksWagon from hell to Mike at Perfection Auto Works. Prior to taking it there, I researched the shops in Tucson and this is the best independent shop in town for VW repair. We had the codes read prior to taking the car to Mike. He told us the same codes we already knew were the issue. I knew he was honest at that point. His shop made the repairs but every week the check engine light would come on, and we would be waiting at Perfection on early Monday mornings. The reason was always new, but legitimate. He stood behind his warranty and continued fixing minor problems each week at no charge. Mike rocks! I would recommend this shop to my grandmother, and to my boss. That is how much I trust their service. more

I don't normally write reviews, however over the last 5 yrs the level of service and attention that I have received from Mike and his staff have more than surpassed my expectations on every visit!!!!! Mike's refreshingly honest approach to the service needs of my vehicle have been a welcome change to my previos experinces with the automotive reapair industry. I love my BMW 750li and depend on it for my business travels, which equal about 25000 miles per year throughout southern AZ. Not only does Mike and his crew handle my vehicles Routine services in a timely and efficient manner, but anytime I have an unexpected problem he is always there to go above and beyond. He always does what i feel is his best to accomidate me and fix my issues. his prices are fair and he really stands behind his work with true customer service being the cornerstone of his business ethics. \r \r Sincerely \r \r Virginia\r \r \r \r \r more

Do not consider taking your car to this outfit unless you enjoy consumer abuse. They make a big deal out of making an appointment which I did for *:30 AM. When I arrived I was informed by a surly attendant that there were 14 cars ahead of mine and there was no telling when they would get to it. No thank you. more

Calling all my single ladies! FINALLY a group of mechanics you can trust to take care of your car without taking advantage of your wallet! Mike and the boys helped me with my '98 VW New Beetle and are now working their magic on my beloved '10 Scion tC. I bring my car in right away in the morning and I'm out of there in about an hour or so. Mike is a no-nonsense guy; he doesn't create reasons for me to have to spend more money. He explains problems to me so that I know exactly what's happening with my car, and I've never had to turn around and go back to him the next day because of a botched job. The price is no more expensive than Fletcher's or Brake Masters and the quality is soooo much better! more

Great service!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/21/2011

I took my 1996 Lexus LX450 to be checked out by Perfection Auto Works. The employees were very professional and helpful. They inspected my car and gave me pricing on the maintenance needs. The cost was very reasonable. After one day of having my car, they finished it and returned it to me. The car has been running smooth ever since. I will definitely be back for my next scheduled maintenance. \r \r Thanks Perfection!\r more

PERFECTION AUTO WORKS PERSONIFIES PERFECTION 2/19/2011

For a few years my son was a student at the University of Arizona which-as many of you may know, gave me the challenge of finding a trustworthy, professional, honest and competitively priced auto shop. My mechanic in New Jersey and I checked the Tucson area and came up with Mike Emery and Perfection Auto Works. On more than just a couple of occasions my son took his car there and the work was always done in a timely fashion and we were always completely satisfied with the work performed. On the last occasion the car had a large amount of work done and when it was shipped back home we were amazed at how it looked--it was like we just picked it up at the showroom. In these days of ""rip-offs"" there are two professions where the most important important credential to me is ""do you truly trust the person performing the service""--those are auto mechanics and doctors! Mike and his team certainly have earned our true trust. more

Best Repair Shop In Tucson ! 7/10/2010

Hello... Great car repair Perfection Auto Works.....! Im so pleased to let people know that the repair shop I have been taking my car to is better than ever ! I needed my Saab repaired asap as the fuel pump went out on a trip to Tucson. Car was towed, fixed and repaired with the best of care, and I have a lot to say about Perfection Auto Works ! They were so excellent at getting my Saab back on the road ! Fast and price as stated.... $25.00 less than the orig. estimate! What really made me satisfied was the quality of service. Mike Emery (the owner ) gave me a tour of the shop ( its huge ! ) the cleanest shop I have ever been in ! You could eat off the floors in that place. I dont know about you, but that makes me understand the insight to the quality that you will see in a repair. My mother always said " find perfection and you will be blessed with a great mechanic." Well, I found Perfection Auto Works...... I wondered for years as to what she meant until I was at a shop in San Diego. more

Avoid this repair shop at all costs, or it will cost you! 1/16/2009

After waiting two weeks for an appointment, I recently brought my 2002, Saab 93 in to replace a temperature sensor. When I called them late in the afternoon the same day, they hadn?t started on it. I indicated that I needed it the same day, as it was my primary means of transportation. When I arrived, I discovered that they also needed to replace the oil pressure sending unit. The total was $460.00.\r Within a few days after this, the problem with the temperature sensor reappeared. I decided to wait on having this looked at because it wasn't causing me any serious problems. Unfortunately, a month later, I began to get an oil leak. At first it wasn't too bad, but within a few days it became significant, so I called Perfection to get it in for repair. I was told that the first appointment would be three (3) weeks away. In addition, they felt that their work was done properly and that it must be a new issue. Since I believed otherwise, I decided to have the vehicle towed to their shop. They said that the only way they could look at it earlier would be if they got a cancellation. I gave them an entire week, but finally called to let them know I was going to have it towed over to the Saab dealer. I asked them to prepare the bill for the original tow, as I would be in right after work. When I arrived, low and behold, the car was up on the lift being worked on. Wonder of wonders, they discovered that the oil pressure sending unit was loose and leaking. They gave the excuse that it was in a hard-to-get-to area. So they just had to tighten it. No charge, since it was warranty work. However, they still charged me for the towing ($47), and I had a rental car charge ($150) for the week. It?s been several weeks, and I still have no offer to cover these items. Fortunately, the oil leak has not reappeared, so I won?t have to go back. I certainly won?t have them look at the temperature sensor issue, which is still failing. And they broke a tab on my engine cover! Cons: Slow, lack knowledge, poor customer service more

BEST CAR REPAIR EVER EVER EVER.......! 9/27/2008

Hello, I thought I would let people know that I have taken my Mercedes, my Lexus and my husbands BMW to Perfection Auto Works for over 12 years now, and I want to let EVERY ONE ON THE PLANET know how HAPPY and how SATISFIED my relationship has been with this shop. They offer a FREE 26 point inspection that lets you know whats up with the car as it goes to the shop. Mike Emery always lets you know if their are thing you need to pay attention to. My husbands BMW needed rear brakes, and since the brake lite was not on, I trusted that the brake pads were as thin as he said......sure enough, when he asked me to look at the rear brakes.... I could see the pad, and they were almost to metal. What I loved about the inspection and the new inspection, was the fact that Perfection Auto Works had told me 5 months before that the brakes were getting thin.!!!! Wow, no surprise, as Perfection Auto Works had already told me the facts on their inspection. We have been to many shops in the Tucson area on just the ""oil change "" circuit ,but I dont recommend this if you want quality......the last one left the drain plug loose. I HIGHLY recommend Perfection Auto Works because they have the ability and the professionalism to do a wonderful job on your car, or my car... In fact, I m taking my neighbors Infinity to Perfection Auto Works next week......... She cant drive due to a broken leg, but has the same respect and judgment as I...... We trust our cars with Perfection Auto Works and you should too.......... Sincerily Mrs. Fredericka Pros: Best place Ive been too.... have you tried the others ? Cons: too busy more

Dont leave your car with them, they will rip you off 9/18/2008

Bad Customer Service, Overcharged, Dishonest. Don't take you car here because they will create problems which aren't already there. Then they will try and convince you to fix them at perfection auto works, its simply a rip off. How they stay in business is a mystery to me. Cons: watch out, you'll leave with a broken car more
