Perfect Little Spa & Salon

My hair is really a challenge to cut. Done incorrectly, and I look like a dandelion that has gone to seed. A litmus test for me is if a stylist has read the "Curly Girl Handbook." Despite her own beautiful strait locks, Vanessa has not only read this book--but has practically memorized it. She has given me incredibly good haircuts as well as suggested products that work well for my hair type. The prices are very reasonable and Vanessa goes the extra mile to make her customers feel right at home. more

Vanessa styles and colors my hair with a true artist's eye. She listens well and incorporates from our discussion a splendid color and hair cut.. At times she will offer an idea that has always been right on target. There are many extras that heighten the experience.She begins with the most amazing neck and head massage- something I look forward to in a big way. Vanessa is *great*. I was a walk-in, needing a new style, and I let her decide what to do. She gave me a haircut that's easy to replicate at home, looks fantastic, and I swear it's even resulted in people being nicer to me. :-) I've never loved a haircut more. And even though she's among the best in town, she doesn't charge the exorbitant price some hairdressers charge. Highly, highly recommened. If you want to be tended to and nurtured, this is your place. Not a high-concept posh salon, but it doesn't have the high concept prices to match. However, I had the best massage of my life. more

I loved Perfect Little Spa and Salon! It is a cute place and everyone there is wonderful and welcoming. I had a facial there and I have had many facials before but she was excellent. Her facial massage was great and relaxing. Susan knew what she was talking about and took the time to suggest products for me. And now, I absolutely love Bioelements. I got just what I was looking for at the Perfect Little Spa & Salon: a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, a thorough, fabulous massage, and excellent customer service! The PL Spa is the best salon/spa I've ever been to. The service is great and the atmosphere is really comfortable. I get hair cuts and waxes with Vanessa and I will never go anywhere else now! She is so great! The owner is a nice lady and the other staff are really accommodating and friendly! They also offer a facial product that i can hardly find anywhere for reasonable prices! BioElements are a hard brand to find and they have it at Perfect Little Spa and Salon. I recommend this place to all my friends and everybody else! Pros: Great service and great results! My friends and I participated in our 6th Breast Cancer 3 Day in September. We scheduled with this spa on very short notice for our team to get massages and pedis the day after the event. Marlys and Vanessa were very accommodating in making sure we had all the services that we would need, even having pedicures available for us on a day when they normally aren't. Before we even visited, their attention and customer service had won me over. It was a great surprise than that this was one of the best massages I've received. Aubrey and Marlys both gave our ladies great massages and excellent customer service. Shawn gave 2 of us relaxing, soothing pedicures. Our team will be back next year and before that, we will go back as individuals. Truly a great place to chat with your girlfriends and get an amazing massage or pedi. I've had many, many massages and facials around the Twin Cities. I have to say that the massage sessions with Marlys are the best. The sessions are therapeutic but also very relaxing and makes your body feel more balanced. Even with gas prices so high I'm willing to travel from Brooklyn Park to have a session with her. The salon is small and quaint so if you want a slick and modern salon like most other places you may be disappointed. I don't mind the location because I know that fancier locations increase the cost of their services to cover their lease and not necesarily the skill level of their therapists. I've also had a couple facials. They are good and Marlys is teaching the esthetician massage techniques but I wouldn't travel there just for this service. I like to add it to my massage as a package. This spa and salon has everything. The prices are great and the quality is better! The staff are some of the nicest people around. They are professional and do an awesome job. They take their time to make sure you are happy and everything is the way you want it. This is one of the best if not the best spa and salon around! Pros: Everything this place is perfect! Talk about finding a diamond in the rough. Perfect Little Spa and Salon is the best! This salon is everthying you would want it to be! Everthing is here . . . salon services, massage, facials, manicures, pedicures. . . they have it all. Best of all is the staff. I have never felt so welcomed in a salon. They truly are grateful for your visit. This is a place for everyone. They even will cater to children's groups. Next time you are thinking of having a salon service you must try this place.
