I hired Perez Nursery to install $8000.oo worth of landscaping in the backyard and pool area of my home. Luis Perez, who supervised the job told me that he would be back to check on the plants and trees after installation to take care of any issues that may come up and provide weed control, etc. After approx. 3 weeks, there were some issues that needed to be taken care of. It took 2 weeks of calling the nursery to get someone to come out. The person that came out did take care of some issues, but said he would return again to adjust the sprinkler system and check on some weeds that were starting to appear. Approx. 90 days later, there is a severe weed problem, 5 plants have died and 5 more appear sick. I have left several messages with the machine at the nursery, spoke to a girl that answers occasionally and she assured me that the issues would be handled. I still, after repeated attempts cannot get Perez Nursery to return a call, come to my home, or follow through with any further product guarantee (1 year) services. more

Perez Nursery is at the corner of Payne (the old Sunset Blvd) and Highway 4. They have their own green houses and fields in Brentwood. They grow everything from mums to beautiful shade trees and their sales can not be beat! They will also deliver for $20 per tree and best yet, they will plant your trees for you at $25 per tree so that you are sure that they have the best possible chance at survival. The knowledgeable staff at the nursery can tell you what is hardy enough for certain locations especially those spots in the full sunlight of the central valley. They were also able to help me pick out a tree that would meet the requirements for the city when replacing a tree in the are between the curb and front sidewalk. more

They are located a little insconspiciously, almost missed their sign pointing to their parking lot. A lot of their plants look like they are dying. Although they do have some species that you don't see in the large chain stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. However, they are pricier on similar items. They also sell soil, mulching and decorative rocks by weight and are deliverable to your home. The staff seem to be approachable. more
