Peppermill Hotel Casino

I love to eat at the Peppermill Coffee Shop late at night. The service is always so good, and the food is delicious, too. They don't mind if you sit and chat, and of course there's lots of casino-type entertainment right there if you want to play some penny slots or table games. I really like the coffee shop's chinese food and the breakfasts that are discounted after 11 pm. It's such a nice place to go without such the strong cigarette smoke smell all the time. My all-time favorites late night spot. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful and they even recognize my sister and I sometimes. Even the bussers are on their game all the time. The menu is HUGE, breakfasts are discounted after 10 pm, they even have chinese food. I highly recommend the peppermill coffee shop for late night eating. Better than any Denny's. more

I really enjoy going to the Peppermill because of it's all-in-one casino / hotel. Although they are not located near the casino / hotels in downtown Reno, you will find that the Peppermill has everything you're looking for in one place. As soon as you step in the casino, you will see an amazing number of colorful lights and you have to try-out their chairs in the casino! Nicely cushioned with arm-rests that swivel (unlike other places where you have to push and pull the chair to make it stay in a certain position). My favorite place to eat at the Peppermill is the 24-hour Coffee Shop. Some of the items I've enjoyed are the Buffalo Chicken Salad, Mongolian Beef and for dessert...Mud Pie -- best Mud Pie I ever had! If you have a big appetite, check out their Island Buffet. I love how it makes me feel like I'm in a rainforest by having sounds of rain and birds chirping. If you're looking for more of a fine dining and / or romantic experience, I would recommend the Romanza. I had the Fettuccine Carbonara which was exquisite! we go to the peppermill evry year on busines, but enjoy our stay. the rooms are nice and roomy and the food is really good. the buffet is really good, the shirmp was great when we wnet there last weekend. the kids had a blast in the pool, it was nice waether outside and the pool was nice and relaxing plus they kids enjoys splashing around. The one thing they can imporive on is things for the kids to do the play room is very some and not much for them to do. more
