Excellent location, with in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Great place to stay with family with small children. They loved playing in the snow. more

Our little secret 2/7/2011

What a deal and great hospitality!! My wife and I live in Reno and often go to the lake for weekends. This is such a great little find that I almost hesitate to write the review... (Our little secret) From the moment that we walked in the office door we were greated with big smiles and the most graceous managers that we have ever met. Lee and Marika are awsome!! they worked with us to get the room that we wanted and were always available if we needed anything. The room was spotless and the view was amazing. I highly recommend paying extra for the tower room. With this level of service and commitment to their hotel I doubt that we will ever stay anywhere else!! more

The room was pretty large and had a very comfortable bed along with a fridge, microwave etc... The location is also pretty good if you are after a quiet time away from the hustle of South Tahoe. All in all, well worth the money. more

The pool is inviting 1/13/2011

The pool is inviting with its' blue hue and sparkling waters. I found the staff to be most inviting, particularly when compared with the surrounding options. Without reservations, my options were expressed in an easily understood manner. Having lost my AAA membership card during recent travels, the Innkeeper provided thenecessary support to discount the room rate accordingly. Friendly and helpful in all manner, the staff was above the grade. The renovated rooms were superior in design to most in the area. A warm, and pleasing feel of comfort welcomes the traveler upon entrance to their room. Ammenities are abundant without overwhelming the space. The continental breakfast goes beyond normal selections. A presentation of healthy, delicious foods, and beverages await consumption. The peaceful setting found on my trip was enjoyable. As my stay was on the weekend before the start of school, I feel that these conditions are likely to be found in the off-season. I would recommend a stay at this Inn more

I would stay here again 1/13/2011

I stayed here while skiing in the Tahoe area. I have no complaints about this hotel. The rooms were clean and adequate in size. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items. And the view of the lake really is a nice bonus. The hotel is also walking distance to all shops, bars and restaurants in Tahoe City. I would stay here again. more

Quiet part of Tahoe 1/11/2011

We got rooms for $90 so the rooms were worth the price. They are small, but clean and fairly updated. It is close to the lake and some good restaraunts. Quiet part of Tahoe. The matress was newer more

Amazing: Great, convenient location 1/3/2011

Amazing: Great, convenient location, couzy place to lay ur head down after a long day of snowboarding. Pool/spa was heated and very enjoyable and is very close to lake tahoe for you summer vactioners. more

Clean and well kept 12/28/2010

I stayed there one Saturday Night in October and I must say it was very enjoyable. The rooms are clean and well kept. Plenty of towels,soap,shampoo, etc...My experience with the office staff was pleasant. They were friendly and helpful. The view from the tower rooms is breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family! more

Stayed two nights and days. Clean, friendly, great location to beach(Commons Beach Park),restaurants(Jake's and Christy Hills), bike baths,tour boat to Emerald Bay. Farmers Market ,old car show,music in park, fun place! Slow rafting if you like that kind of laid back thing. Park your car at hotel and walk everywhere! Cools off in evenings(no air conditioning)-safe to open windows-place fan in bathroom window and cools off room fast. Nice complimentary breakfast. Shops open at 10 AM and close at 6PM. Free internet connection at coffee shops and other local spots. Library two blocks away across street. Our next great stay was in South Lake Tahoe,CA. more

Janice (front desk) was ever so helpful + great personality for her job. The management team is "top of the line", so people oriented, makes the guests so glad they chose to stay @ Pepper Tree Inn. We will recommend the Inn to others and would definitely stay there again if in. more

Very happy 11/21/2010

I think this place is great and I am very glad we chose this "inn" to stay at. I do not think your website does any justice. I would redo the website to really show the amenities and views from each room. I was not expecting much when I booked a room but was very happy I stayed here after we checked in. I would really try to add more pics on the website and really highlight the views and location =) Thanks. more

Our rooms (Stayed in 2-106, 209) were pleasant + lovely. They reflect the beauty of this area. Equipped with every conveniences - microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, storage area, desk, seating. Looked forward to returning after a busy day. Loved the windows in both the bathrooms + sleeping area for cross ventilation for fresh air. Shampoo/conditioner/lotion- nice quality plus easy to squeeze! more
