Dr. Pepin has been my Doctor for close to 10 years now and I have known him to always have a great ability to listen, examine, stop and think and ask questions. After taking in the information Dr. Pepin would then take the appropriate action for the situation. My view was that Dr. Pepin was a great doctor. Then there was the one day, where having a “Best-in-Class” doctor really matters, the day that Dr. Pepin saved my life. I was in an auto accident three years ago, about a year after the accident I had an appointment with Dr. Pepin, it happened to be right after a different appointment with a surgeon who informed me I would need my fourth accident related surgery. It was on that day, in that appointment with Dr. Pepin that I know he truly saved my live, for I was at the end of my capacity to cope with life. Had it not been for the genuine concern and desire to help make me better that I received that day I don’t believe I would be alive today. I left that appointment encouraged, with helpful medication, with contacts for additional help and with my feet back on the ground. If I were reading this and it were to end now I would be thinking what a great doctor. But it did not end there. Over the next couple of weeks Dr. Pepin arranged for appointments with Dr. Heitritter, an outstanding Endocrinologist, discussed my situation with her on multiple occasions (including social events and after hours), and made proactive contact with me to see how I was doing. So that is why I believe Dr. Pepin saved my life and believe the tremendous level of care Dr. Pepin provided me was a result of a combination of his education, experience and a simple readout of the caring type of person he is. Sincerely ..Richard King
