Tires 9/20/2008

I called to see if they had a specific tire in stock and I waited about 10 min on the phone. He had stated that they didn't have that tire in stock. I called back later to see if they had a different brand in my tire size and the girl said that they only had the tire in one brand. Low and behold it was the tire that I called about. These people have computers to check there stock. Do you think they use them???? I went in to get the tire and it took 20 min for them to find it. Slow service and people don't know what they are doing there!! more

No surprise with the previous reviews. The only time I had a good experience with this repair shop is when they accidentaly stumbled upon a solution to our electrical system problem. It was a corroded connector. They didn't find that out though until they had done everything else under the sun to the car. Luckily, we were able to argue our way out of the bill. PROS: Not many. CONS: Just About Everything more

this company is the pits 11/28/2005

I wanted to get some bearings and some brake pads on my car and they said wait would be 40 minutes so i wait and 1 hour later they say it will be another 30 minutes and then another delay for 20 mintes. Then the price they gave me went up without notice till it was done. And when I left (mad) i noticed the brakes were squeaking already so i went somewhere else and then I found out they didn't even change one of them. It was a waste of time and money going there and the hassle of sorting everything and prices are not even that good. Look elsewhere. PROS: nothing CONS: everything more

The worst place to buy parts from 9/15/2005

Well there i snothing much to say about this place, other than the fact that EVEN WITH a computer to aid them in getting the people that shop there the right parts to fix their cars, they somehow manage to mess that up. I was givin the wrong set of axles for my car three different times, I finally yanked the spline out and brought it in to the store so I could match it up there on their counter top. more

No Wonder this Company is Sinking! 6/21/2005

I've never received anything that even remotely passed for courtesy at any Pep Boys. But this one gets a gold star for going beyond simple rudeness to artful ignorance. Go there and you'll swear you don't exist. The workers must be independently wealthy because they don't seem to need their jobs. PROS: Location CONS: Oblivious to their customers. more
