GREAT MECHANICS AND FAIR PRICES 4/9/2011

I went to Pep Boys specifically to investigate the Engine Light Warning on the dash of my 177,000 mile 99 Toyota Corrolla. The manager, Shondale, ran a number of tests, replaced the plugs and wires (that had 70,000 miles on them), and gave me a referral to Mesa Muffler for the catalytic converter. Even though the process took seven hours due to the Sunday rush, the mechanics were very thorough. I got the bill: $294, fair for the job they did. And the referral to Mesa Muffler saved me $600.00 over Sun Devil!! I brought my Corrolla back for a recheck after the catalytic converter was installed -- 100%. more
