Pep Boys

Walked in on Sunday at 10am asking for an estimate for wheel bearings to bring the automobile back later on in the week. Manager said to come back later & I replied I would then manager stated that I should come back on a day that I know I will be paying for the actual service. Said they are short staffed on Sundays & it would be better for them and for me to come back on a day that the services can be paid. They have 'too many customers that have work that needs to be done' as opposed to customers wanting estimates. I took my automobile to Firestone down the street and they saw me in 15 min , gave me an estimate (which was way cheaper than Pep Boys would of given me). This was not my only negative experience at Pep Boys either. They broke a valve and told me they would give me a 10% discount off the bill?! I am NEVER going back to Pep Boys in Marlton again, you can be assured of that! more

dropped the car off for brake work, when I picked it up the glove compartment had been detached and was sitting on the floor of the car. When I went to complain the manager first said that they don't go in the car. Then he said that the glove compartment was probably faulty. There's never been a problem before. Bottom-line is that they showed a lack of care and consideration with my car and then gave me attitude when I asked them to make it right. The manager did get one of the mechanics to fix it and then acted like he had done me a favor. more

Had brakes done there along with a sensor, all belts and a hose.\r Brakes came back vibrating terrible. They cut my newer rotors so bad and never test drove em. Also argued they're responsibility to repair them. Never put back on clips and harness's in the engine compart. UGH! Ride by at night, you'll see the mechanics that do most of the work.. 17-18 yr. olds more

Went here to get rims installed. They did not balance the tires properly and because of this i had to pay 400 dollars for new tires. ALSO THE MANAGER IS NO HELP AND HAS A VERY BAD ATTITUDE PROBLEM. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PEP BOYS!!!!! more

Quick in and out for simple and complicated work. They are never busy for some reason but do a great job and no appointment needed and usually no wait. more
