Peoples Tire and Auto has been servicing my car as long as I've had it, as well as my mothers car, and friends cars. On a recent visit to have some major work done to my car, they got it fixed the same day, with the work done right and for 25% less then what the dealer would have charged. That's why I trust my car to them. They also have great people working there. Terry and Ron are as friendly and knowledgeable as you could possibly ask for to do business with. more

One of Raleigh's best auto shops! 4/17/2010

If you need a mechanic shop, look no further! I've been going here for years and I highly recommend them. Everyone that works here is top-notch. They're very honest, do great work, and you would be hard-pressed to find better prices. I highly recommend People's Tire & Auto! 5 stars! more

Good, honest, southern hospitality 6/3/2009

This is the best place around. It is one of the only truly southern garages left. The owner, Terry, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He doesn't try to take advantage of you, he's honest about the problem with your car and his rates are below others. I will never take my car anywhere else. more

I Would Never Take My Car Anywhere Else! 2/12/2009

I have known Terry (owner) for over 6 years, and he is the most honest person you would ever meet. He let's you know exactly what is wrong (if anything), how much it is going to be, how long it's going to take - and imagine, does not try to "adjust your headlights" or add on any additional charges like most car repair shops do to us (especially to women). I HIGHLY recommend his services over every other car shop in the state. more

Mechanics like no other 1/5/2009

My first experience with Terry at People's was when my 94 Corolla wouldn't start. He kept it for 2 days, drove it often and couldn't find a problem with it. I had him change the oil and there were no other charges.\r \r I repeatedly take my cars to him for their service. He never treats me like a "girl" and never tries to sell us services we don't need. \r \r An honest mechanic is hard to come by-- and they are top-notch! more
