I brought 3 baskets of clothes to this store. The owner went through 2 of the 3 baskets with me standing there. She was impressed with my clothing (very good condition) no stains, rips, worn out items. She had a big pile overflowing that she said she would keep. Another pile had about 6 winter coats that were hardly worn, shoes that were worn once or twice. She said these are nice things! I left there feeling like I would have a good business relationship with them. After about a week, they called to tell me they would donate what they didn't use or I could pick up these items (at this time they didn't tell me how many things were left). I said just donate them, that was fine. After about a month I called to see how much money I had in my account and she put me on hold and then came back and said that they only took 6 of my items to sell! WHAT!? She said many of my things had baby stains on them! (I don't have babies!) My clothes were size 3t and up! What about everything she was going to keep? My nice winter coats, shoes, sweaters, etc...??? No explanation. I had $2.65 in my account. I was furious. I was duped. They took my nice clothing and sold it solely for their profit! I gave them over 100 items! I asked them what did I sell that gave me $2.65? She said she didn't know, they don't keep track!? WHAt? Then how do they know who's things belong to who? Very unprofessional, the store smells horrible of mildew! Very unclean. It was a bad choice to take any of my things there. Never again! There are many nice consignment shops I have found since in the Pittsburgh area! BEWARE! Do your research first !
