Peggy Nairn and the staff make a point to greet you and your child with a smile and a good morning/afternoon as soon as you walk in the door. The teachers also provide a warm and caring environment for the children throughout the day and evening, there is a genuine concern for the safety and well being for all the children. I've read some of the other reviews and can only say they must be talking about another facility or they have some hidden agenda. The kids class rooms at Penny&Peggy Nairn 24hr Child Care are very clean and there seems to be plenty of activities for the children. more

I'm one of the owners, Were 24 hours 7 days We serve children Newborn -School age.Were getting ready to expand after 31 years and we would like to know if you need 24 hour childcare & early education in your area? Let us know where we serve ages Newborn - school age.Never hesitate to ask anything or come by. Random people calling over the phone that obviously have never been here and must have called a wrong number should never just write a false review. Were very clean and have clean licensing reports to prove it.!!\r Our Center speaks for itself , were very busy and everyone attending is pleased with our facilities and our services. They have a friendly staff, a comfortable atmosphere and tons of great amenities for the children. Every time I visit, I feel welcomed and at ease to see the children so happy. I would recommend everyone to bring their children here. more

This daycare is run by criminals and unprofessional people. Not one single teacher or assistant has any previous experience in childcare. It's very terrible. And also user BECCANAIRN, you are the owner's daughter, I saw your review. You dont even have a child stupid. Money hungry people everywhere. False reviews on behalf of the owner's family or good friends. Very suspicious! Never bring your child here I was made aware of the abuse children under go here. From pinching to negligence. Glad I left this place and took my child with me. STAY AWAY. I WARN YOU. You child does not deserve this. more

When I found out about this I was deeply disgusted by this daycare center a grandmother out of all people just trying to pick up her grandson shame on them......\r \r Here is what happened! The person was out of town, the person asked their mother to pick up their child while they were out of town. The person notified the daycare on more than one occasions, they provided all the required documentation to the daycare but Peggy the owner still refused to release the child to the grandmother in spite of the parent direct orders to release their child. The person waited 3.5 hours and still was unable to pick up her grandson. SMH!!!!\r \r The daycare was cited by the Dept of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division for their actions in this situation due to the fact I guess Ms peggy ran outside to the grandmother and put hands on her to get the little boy away from the grand mother. \r \r The police was called, a criminal lawsuit was filed against the grandmother and all 12 jurors did not believe Peggy and her employees that testified against the grandmother. All 12 jurors found the grandmother ""Not Guilty"". I don't know what Penny and Peggy were trying to accomplish by their actions.\r \r Because Peggy refused to release the child, the parent was forced to take a 3 hour bus ride to get back home to pick up their child. Listen to these comments stay away from this day-care. more

This place is not only dirty but the older kids mingle in with the younger ones and the foul words they use is well let's just say my child doesn't go there anymore. more

My child was attending this daycare. At first my husband and I were pleased. However, after my child was switched to another class everything went down hill. The staff did not regularly change her diaper, sent her home dirty, soiled, and in soiled underwear. I saw children being physically aggressive towards each other (hitting, kicky, chocking, etc) and the teacher stood by and said nothing. My concerns increased when my child came home cursing and making inappropriate sexual comments. The owner is very nice however she presents herself as always taking her staff's side instead of assertively addressing and resolving problems. more

OMG!!!! DIRTIEST PLACE EVER,,ALL MY KIDS WHERE THERE FOR AWHILE AND TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YAH..: IT IS DIRTY, GUETTO, SMELLS, AND THE FOOD IS JUNK!!THE ONLY REASON I EVER TOOK MY CHILDREN THERE INITIALLY WAS BECAUSE I NEEDED CARE FOR THEM ASAP CUS I WAS STARTING SCHOOL AND DIDNT HAVE TIME TO LOOK AROUND MUCH! BUT NOW I HAVE OPTIONS AND MY KIDS CARE IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THEN EVER. I FELT MISERABLE EVERYTIME MY KIDS CAME HOME SICK OR SCRATCH CUS OF THER LITTLE KIDS PICKING ON MY LITTLE KIDS :( PEGGY IS ALSO JUST MONEY HUNGRY THAT LADY NEEDS TO HIRE BETTER TEACHERS..EAITHER THEY LOOK LIKE CHOLAS OR THEY ARE PLAIN DRY FAT AND ARENT ENERGETIC.. THATS SAD HOW SHE DOSNT EVEN HAVE ANY KINDA INSURANCE FOR HER TEACHERS (BUT LOOK AT THE ESCALADE SHE HAS) more

When u have to carry a car seat and pappers (coloring pappers) it's hard to open and shut the gate at the door then 5 feet from the door again. I'll give it to them for making it hard to leave. I wanted to stay because my apartment is right up the street but I felt like my child wasn't progressing much and had to find another childcare that accepts my program. When I was looking around I make sure they did daily activities and also had plenty of time to play with the other kids. I don't think they were getting that at penny and peggy childcare. more

This place does not look out for the childern's best interest at all. I found out that they were skipping meals and leaving my younger child in soiled diapers long enough to have a rash. My older daughter was picked on by boys that were quite a bit older and I'm much happier that I left. more

as a young mother i was a little nervous leaving my child with someone else. but as soon as i walked into the daycare center they made me feel like family. i felt better leaving my baby. i knew that they will take good care of my child and treat him like one of there own kids. the daycare is very clean and the teachers are very respectful and nice. i couldn't have found a better place for my child. more

Who is ever writing these 5 star reviews must be the owner, because my child went there and it was the pit's. There should be a law about workers or owners writing great reviews because its all wrong. Let the parents write the reviews, those are the real ones. Don't even call this place because the only thing they care about is the money. more

Funny how all the 5 star ratings are from the owner!\r This place is pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r You had your chance and blew it. I tried to tell you to stop letting the older kids play with my younger child and after two weeks, still couldn't do it. really need to work on the structure and get teachers that have energy. more

This place is out of control, my child was there for about three weeks before I had to start popping in unannounced. I saw kids jumping on the tables (older kids) and toddlers standing close by. loud yelling where the teacher couldn't communicate to the others. My child came home after the second week starting to say foul words! I spoke to the lady in charge and she said she would handle it. My child told me the same older kids where still talking bad. I also didn't like the fact that the older kids were in the same room that the younger kids were in. Pass this place up! I left and found a nice childcare that I am happy with now.\r By the way, all those other reviews are from the owner and kids so don't be fooled. more
