Penny & Peggy Nairn 24 Hour Child Care, Inc

When I found out about this I was deeply disgusted by this daycare center a grandmother out of all people just trying to pick up her grandson shame on them......\r \r Here is what happened! The person was out of town, the person asked their mother to pick up their child while they were out of town. The person notified the daycare on more than one occasions, they provided all the required documentation to the daycare but Peggy the owner still refused to release the child to the grandmother in spite of the parent direct orders to release their child. The person waited 3.5 hours and still was unable to pick up her grandson. SMH!!!!\r \r The daycare was cited by the Dept of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division for their actions in this situation due to the fact I guess Ms peggy ran outside to the grandmother and put hands on her to get the little boy away from the grand mother. \r \r The police was called, a criminal lawsuit was filed against the grandmother and all 12 jurors did not believe Peggy and her employees that testified against the grandmother. All 12 jurors found the grandmother ""Not Guilty"". I dont know what Penny and Peggy were trying to accomplish by their actions.\r \r Because Peggy refused to release the child, the parent was forced to take a 3 hour bus ride to get back home to pick up their child. Listen to these comments stay away from this day-care. more

Dirty and the older children hang out with the younger kids and talk like drunken sailors. This is why my child no longer attends this childcare. They need to understand what the word childcare means, childCARE!!!!! I also wondered why my child would be hungry every day I brought my child home. I cant prove that they weren't feeding them enough or at all but I still don't get why each day the first thing I did was feed my child and watch how they ate so much. Find another childcare like I did and you will be much happier! more

I have to agree with the other review. My child came home with a lot of coloring pictures and I questioned them. They told me that they do many crafts but they arent able to take them home. What in the world are those crafts! I should of done what the other reviewer said and popped in to surprise them, I most likely would of saw something that I wouldn't of liked. I left after a few weeks and I wish I would of left sooner. more
