I have only been to Penn State once and my boyfriend took me and I totally fell in love with the Peachy Paterno ice cream. The only problem is that we live in Ohio. If you go there get the Peachy Paterno. There is nothing better!!!!! more

Peachy Paterno Ice Cream 10/25/2006

I have great memories of living in Happy Valley and going to The Creamery ( http://www.creamery.psu.edu/ ) to buy freshly made Peachy Paterno ice cream. Peachy Paterno* is very creamy Peach ice cream, from our very own dairy cows at Penn State, with Peach chunks. Wonderfully creamy, and the fat is well worth it! If you happen to be in the area for a Big 10 home game or ArtsFest, be sure to stop by the 'largest university creamery in the nation' and try some! Ice Cream majors in college 2/27/2006

Did you know that Penn State has an Ice cream major? Sounds good to me! You can taste the fruits of their labors at the Penn State University Creamery. They have lots of unusual flavors, many of them are not so great tasting. The novelty of having ice cream in a Penn State container is really the draw. And, for an extra fee, they will pack your ice cream in a dry ice bag so it will stay cold for you if you have a long drive home. more
