I received a card to take advantage of a free home energy audit. They made an appointment that was within 5 working days of my call and they were on time (within the one hour window given me, MUCH better than so many 4-hour wiondows). They were efficient and delivered a very comprehensive report eight working day safter they were here.\r \r I am now considering a solar system, but there has been no pressure. Pros: Provided me with a free home energy udit - no pressure Cons: They do not do mechanical - like heatiing and AC more

Most self-sufficient system I have seen 12/12/2008

Though the parts were more expensive than what I have been accustomed to, I am already seeing a cost differential in my monthly water bill AND up time AND cost of maintenance. GREAT product(S), excellent installation time with minimal intrusion into established growth areas. I am now considering having them do some landscape lighting, but no solar just yet.\r \r Their office is centrallized to the peninsula, the response time is comparable to other good companies, the initial contact with Nathan Thomas was very fruitful, and I like the fact they are movig toward being a one-stop-shop for homeowners with irrigation,plumbing, solar, and electrical. How often have I had to make multiple calls and meet with a number of people at different times?\r \r The old addage has been proven true again, we get what we pay for. I am looking forward to a continued relationship. Pros: Fast, efficient, very knowledgeable, no hard sales pitches, delivered as promised. Cons: A little on hte expensive side - though I think the minimized maintenance and repairs will average this out nicely. more

Over time, we began doing so much work for other landscape contractors, we decided to focus on the irrigation in Atherton, Burlingame, Hillsborough, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Redwood City and Woodside.

    Peninsula Irrigation Company is a family owned and operated business. Over our 30+ year history we have become industry leaders in residential irrigation on the San Francisco Peninsula. We specialize in all aspects of outdoor potable plumbing and irrigation from large scale installations to small repairs.

    We want to assure our customers that landscape irrigation will always be the focus of Peninsula Irrigation. This is actually one of the reasons we formed Peninsula Lighting and Electric and Peninsula Solar.

    In 2005 we began doing landscape lighting. We appreciate the quality and safety of low voltage lighting and found the need to hire and electrical contractor to do all of the standard voltage for us. We found a contractor who specialized in the types of homes, businesses and city properties we work. More important, they held to the same high value of work ethics. Aretae Electric.

    We have since acquired Aretae Electric and changed its name to Peninsula Lighting and Electric. Therefore, we have formed Peninsula Consolidated Services, Inc. with subsidiaries: Peninsula Irrigation, Peninsula Lighting and Electric, Peninsula Solar. Now the Electrical arm does the lighting and we are able to concentrate on what we have been doing best for two generations now: Design and installat ion of landscape irrigation, along with its subsequent monitoring and maintenanc
