Pence's went above and beyond to get my furnace working. I was SO impressed and extremely grateful that they got my furnace working the same day, even though the technician had several service calls lined up and they had to go pick up parts in the city. I expected to have to wait 2 or 3 days! The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. I can't say enough good about Pence's!!! After my home warranty company and their contractor dropped the ball, Pence's made the appropriate repairs in a timely manner and at an affordable price!! FIRST CLASS COMPANY! more

HIGHLY Recommended 5/7/2009

We just had Pence Heating and Cooling replace and upgrade our our furnaces and AC units with new energy efficient dual-fuel heat pumps. I can't say enough good about this business. To begin, the owner did our initial inspection and estimate, and while his was not the lowest bid, he was the only estimator who didn't come across like a "used car salesman." The installation crew were polite, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. They worked quickly, and cleaned up their work area when they were done. The equipment is first rate, and exceeded our expectations. more

Don't waste your time or money 1/7/2009

We had our house built by a company that uses Pence strictly to install all the heating and cooling in their houses. About a year ago we had a problem with our thermostat and so we called to have them come to check it out. The guy came, acted annoyed for even having to show up, was here for about 10 minutes, and left telling me there was nothing wrong with it. Well, there was and still is. I refused to have them come back a second time. We are just going to replace the cheap thermostat with a digital one. more

Excellent customer service, quick and efficient, quality products! 9/2/2008

My husband and I had to get a new heating and cooling system for the home we moved into, the system we had was extremely old and on it's last legs (the house was built in 1978 and so was the system), we were told by another very good company that the heating pump was on it's way out and that basicaly we will be needing a new heat pump, they gave us a quate on a new system which was for $6100.00, my husband and I couldn't afford that, so we got a second opionon with Pence and we were extremely pleased with the help they gave us, and they gave us a excellent quate on a new Trane heating and cooling system. W.C Pence and his wife are easy to talk to, very professional as well as very freindly, did everything to help to get finance, even came to my home to deliver the paper work for the financing which was very nice of them to do so. I highly reccomend this company!! Pros: Very friendly, very efficiant and professional, a great local company. Cons: N/A more
