I decided to take an at-home course this past year when I decided that I wanted to look further in to the travel agent realm, and the school that I registered with became under the direction of Penn Foster midway through the course.
The new "owner" made the transition seamless for me as a student -- I would have never known they switched if they didn't point it out, lol, it was on my part simply the name that changed.
They are very quick with a reply to any quesitons that I have, and are quick to send additional materials as I progress.
I took the class out of curiosity, to look further in to a persoanl interest, so I never even looked in to how the courses may or may not better one's career, since that wasn't why I enrolled for the classes. I would think that they would be good in that area too though, since they are good in all other respects.
