Peking Garden

My family LOVES this place. True, it's just a little hole in the wall, and the decor is kinda outdated, but you will never find Chinese Take Out anywhere as good as this stuff. The ingredients are always fresh, the food is always hot and through the economy troubles of the last few years they have only just raised their prices, slightly. The portions are ginormous, I have fed my family of 5 in this place for less than $20. The same little old lady is always there, and if they happen to be busy have patience with her because she is the only server there, ever. She always has a smile, and has never been rude or huffy, no matter how much she has going on. I've been ordering from here for over 5 years and I've never been dissatisfied with anything. Peking Garden may be a little run down, but I must say that there's never been an issue of cleanliness. Bathrooms are stocked, tables are wiped, floor is swept. I made this Citysearch account, expressly so I could write Peking Garden a review. If you are looking up take out places, I really hope you read this and please give them your business, they deserve it. We would be heartbroken in the event that this place ever closes. more

I live about 2 minutes from this place and we eat and order there a lot... and I do mean a LOT. I have rarely been disappointed and that was only when we ordered as they were closing, Otherwise, they have great food and we can NEVER eat it all. It usually is enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The price is reasonable and they will make it hot n' spicy or mild... however you prefer it. They will change things up for you (Hunan sauce instead of Swezhan or ect.) to please your taste buds. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm a picky eater! The decor is not fancy, but the food sure is! Pros: Great food and you won't be left hungry. Cons: Simple Ma and Pa place, once in a while you have a wait. more
