a nice place to have lunch 4/26/2006

Peking Chef, conveniently located in the Dallas Shopping Center, is a wonderful place to have a meal. I think the decor is lovely, and the staff has always been polite and efficient when we have visited. The restaurant is clean, and the food is very good. They have a variety to choose from, something for everyone in your dining party. more

I've had better 9/20/2005

Nice place in a good location. Sadly, in the last 10 years the food has really slipped. The interior is serviceable and clean and the staff is up to traditional Chinese standards - in other words, exceptional. The food is not as good as it once was. Seems like their dishes are becoming more "Americanized". Lacking spice and taste. I am sure that is making them more popular with the general public, but not with people who actually enjoy Chinese food. The quantity of meat in the meat dishes has also been reduced to the point where you might as well not plan on sharing. more
