Pei Wei Asian Diner

We ate at this place on Sunday and the service was AWFUL. The cashier was very rude. She would NOT get a manager for us. We had questions about some of the dishes. This cashier was standing around calling people losers. How unprofessional is this place? My wife, and brother and sister inlaw, felt we were in a kids park with no supervision. \r \r I highly recommend you save your money and go to a restaurant where the workers are on a more professional level. We've been big fans of PF Chang's for years & we're thrilled to see a Pei Wei in our area. The food is great and the service is SUPERB!!\r \r We take our family to the Warren location on a weekly basis because we enjoy the fast friendly service.\r \r I cannot remember a time that we waited over 7 or 8 minutes for our food. (My husband is in the restaurant business and is always impressed by the speed.) \r \r Not bad, for a family of 4. If you enjoy Chang's, you will love Pei Wei. \r \r \r \r more

I was excited to try this Pei Wei, because it's the same food as PF Chang's - same portions, just a cheaper price because it's not a traditional restaurant in the fact that you place your order and it's brought to you. The service was incredibly slow - we waited 1/2 hour for our food - place was not busy and when it came it was cold, so we asked for it to be re-done - no apologies, no explanation as to why the wait and why the cold food - don't think we would go back - the manager did not seem to care either...I have a severe wheat allergy - ordered a gluten-free dish and did not receive it - luckily I noticed it before taking a bite - the manager's response was well mistakes happen - certainly not the response I had hoped for - was hoping for an apology - received nothing - save your money and go elsewhere. more
