The second Peet's Coffe & Tea ever, first opened in 1973 is located on a cozy corner in quaint Menlo Park. Don't plan on sitting anywhere as there are no seats, nor is there a bathroom. Don't let that deter you though, you are in a place of history. Most of the fixtures are the original pieces that were first present when Alfred Peet opened the store all those years ago. Careful with what you order, you might want to stick to iced drinks or drip coffee as the espresso can be erratic. Nothing a little chocolate or vanilla can't fix however.
PROS: History, ingredient quality
CONS: Erratic drink quality on occasion
