I moved to Maryland from california and had my prescription faxed over. I went in and the ladies there helped me pick out a frame. They were very friendly and I appreciated there time and help. My glasses also came in fast and they called my as soon as they were ready. I will continue to go there!!!!!!!!!! Pros: quick turn around more

I'm not actually a patient at this store. I recently broke my glasses and with money being so tight I didn't know what to do. My good friend knew that I couldn't afford a new pair of glasses and she recommended that I go to this store to get my frames repaired. I expected to have to pay some type of repair fee, but they fixed my glasses for free. I was very surprised by such generosity in such trying times. Pros: Free Repairs Cons: Nothing more

I got my eyeglass perscription 2 months ago and have been looking for glasses that I would like ever since. I'm sure that I've been to every eyeglass store in the area trying on frames and asking questions. I finally found my perfect frame at this store. Michelle and Kristen helped me, explaining to me which colors and shapes would look the best on me. They carried an array of designers and prices were very competitive, while the quality was higher than I'd seen in other stores. I brought my son in to get contacts and The doctor was very nice and explained to us about the care and how to where them. The girl that helped us taught my son how to put them in and take them out and clean them. I really appreciate all the time and patience they put forth with him. more

I have been a customer of Peepers Family Eyecare in Gambrills for approx. 3-4 years. I definitely would recommend them to everyone in the area. The eye doctor's are very thorough and the staff is very upbeat, friendly and helpful. I always have a pleasant experience when i'm there, that's what keeps me going back. I have 4 children and my son has a learning disability, the eye doctor actually made me aware of some things concerning his eyes that may play a role in his condition. I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid. I have lots of experience as an eyeglass consumer. I love my ophthalmologist but she only does prescriptions, so I have to go elsewhere to get my glasses. I've been to several chains and independent stores to get my prescriptions filled. Most places I've been to were average. I really feel that Peepers service was above average. The lady that assisted me in with picking a frame out was very honest, which I appreciate. I have a horrible since of style and I've had nothing but complements from friends and family for my new frame. She also answered all my questions, which as a curious person I appreciate. So after this experience I would recommend this store to anyone who wants their prescription filled by a helpful staff in a timely manner. as a first time customer I was kind of weary of a new eye place especially after my previous experience at lenscrafters. It turns out that I had nothing to be worried about. The ladies answered all of my questions and Dr. Schwartz gave me the most thorough exam I can remember ever having. I certainly plan on coming back here and I have already set up an appointment for my husband to be seen by Dr.Schwartz. They accepted my insurance which alot of other places don't execpt. I appreciated ther wide selection of frames because I am an very picky person. So I encourage anyone who likes thorough exams to see Dr.Schwartz. I went to peepers, my sister referred me the girls that worked there were so sweet and helpful and the doctor was very informative. He introduced me to a different type of contact lens. They are working great my eyes don't get all dry and scratchy anymore. Pros: cutting edge more

My family has been visiting this Peepers office for years now and we recently brought our 6 year old daughter in for her first eye exam. The doctors and staff were very accommodating, and did a great job of putting her at ease. We have always had a good experience here and continue to steer our friends in this direction. I was extremely happy with the service that I received at Peepers. I had been seen previously at lenscrafteres. Not only did the ladies repair my old frames for free but their doctors were able to correct errors made by my previous doctor. I will certainly be taking the rest of my family here, and would reccomend the place to anyone looking for a wonderful experience Pros: very nice people more

After making an appointment I told the women that I would have my four year old with me and she said it would be fine because it would not take long, after over an hour of waiting to see the doctor they called me back to sit in a chair where I heard the doctor laughing and joking with a women. I was told to go into one room and then sit back in the chair to wait another 15 min while he laughed and joked with this women again. He tried to give me the wrong prescripsion and when I corrected him he was rude. Two hours later I was back at the front where I had to go to the back in order to find someone to ring me up. Worst eye experience of my entire life. The eye doctor was extremely rude and tried to rush through my visit. He spoke to me in a condescending manner and treated me with no respect. He was more concerned about going home then giving me the correct eye prescription. Cons: Everything more

Please save yourself the time and trouble. Dr (and I use that term loosely) Gray is highly unprofessional and displays such a cavalier attitiude that I was leary of him from the beginning. He gave me the wrong prescription and instead of apologizing, he acted as if I had made a mistake. It took 3 months of going round and round with his equally unprofessional office 'manager' (another loose term) Kristen for me to finally get at least a prescription that is close to correct. After 3 months of complaining, I was finally scheduled for a 'recheck'. Dr. Gray REFUSED to check my vision again, however said he would order contacts in a prescription that matched my most recent from another office- a prescription that is 2 YEARS old!!! Again, he NEVER apologized or took any blame for my inconvenience. He even tried to blame the fact that I couldn't see with his erroneous prescription on the solution I use - and the altitude!!! I actually pity this man for being so small. Bottom line, DO NOT go to this office. You will be sorry - just like I am. Oh, and, by the way, he said he would order contacts for me and I initially declined. I told him I could get them cheaper online. He assured me that ordering through him was cheaper. I paid almost a third more per box and he only gave me 6 months worth, not the 12 I paid for. Cons: everything is awful more
