Dr. Patel is a great doctor who helped diagnose my eye after a traumatic car accident. He confirmed I did not have a detached retina after a high speed car accident. Along with that he ran several other tests to ensure the health of my eyes. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Patel if you have any questions or concerns about yours eyes. more

Dr. Patel is an excellent doctor who helped my mom and he truly knows what he is doing. My mom is a very nervous person when it comes to going to any doctor, however Dr. Patel was patient, and wonderful with her. She felt so much more as ease. He even found something that was wrong with her eye and recommended us to a great specialist. He was absolutely right and he saved her vision!! I would recommend him to everyone I know! Definitely go here for all of your eye care needs :-) more

Great Customer Service!!!!! 11/10/2011

My Husband has been seeing doctors for a long time, and he's happy he made the switch to Peepers Family Eyecare. For me, I've had reading glasses for a few years, but Dr. Gray's more advanced technology and expertise showed that I needed something different - now I can read at the computer and on paper equally well. He's got the latest technology, a great staff, and a true commitment to customer service. more

Professional and Personable!! 10/19/2011

Dr. Patel is very professional and personable. He and his staff make you feel right at home and they provided the most complete eye exam that I've ever had. I would highly recommend him to anybody and have recommended him to several people already. I have been having many problems trying to get the correct prescription and now I can see again! more

Staff is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! 10/21/2010

All I have to say is this, if you are wanting to go somewhere and talk about other patients and their privacy or hear gossip about other families, then come to Peepers. Sarah and Vinni is the MOST RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL people I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service and patient privacy! When I overheard them speaking about other patients and their privacy outloud to other customers, my jaw dropped. HOW DARE THEY? I DEFINITELY would NOT RECOMMEND Peepers in Gambrils. I would rather drive to Annapolis or even Baltimore or elsewhere then to deal with Peepers again. more

I went to this office because of the reviews on this site. My experience couldn't have been further from what I read. I went back to this site and realized that all positive reviews were written in 1 week. If the practice is willing to lie to the general public, it's no surprise how they treat their patients. Read the 1 star reviews... disregard the rest. Shameful. Pros: good liars Cons: bad people more

horrible do not go here 8/17/2009

I have benn going here for years and apparently it is under new management... I went in to get my daughters frame ordered because it was under warranty and the gentleman there BEN who apparently is the manager for right now while the other one is away????? He never ordered my daughters frame then he told me a couple days and it took a month and when i would call and ask to talk to him, he would give me an attitude and was short with me on the phone and sometimes would not call me back. My poor daughter had to use a old pair of glasses that were broken and an old prescription. I am not happy at all with this place!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: horrible service more

My daughter came in for the first time and was very nervous. We purchased glasses from there. The manager Kristen was very helpful and took her time with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. I would definately reccomend to go there and ask for Kristen she will take care of you!! Pros: very very helpful more

I love the professionalism and care given by the doctors at Peepers family eyecare. I actually hate going to the eye doctor, but the office staff and doctors are friendly, time-efficient and thorough in their care of patients. Parking is always available (always a plus, in my book!) and the offices are well-kept. Stellar place of business. more

I cannot say enough good things about this glasses shop and opticians. There is a large selection of stylish frames and the staff could not be any friendlier or more helpful. I was also very impressed by the doctor who examined my eyes. He was thorough, did not rush the visit and very friendly. Highly recommended! more

They get you in and out promptly, they are the most professional eye doctor I've ever been to. Their office staff is highly efficient, the selection of glasses is fantastic and they're on the ball with their contact lens selection, too. Very nice doctors, great office, no hassles at all. I've had some bad eye-doctor experiences, but I went to see the doctor there based on reviews I found here and elsewhere. Friendly staff is highly important to me, and these folks couldn't be any nicer. They all know what they're doing and they all take the time to talk, which is rare to find, especially in doctors. I never felt rushed...and I felt heard. The women in the glasses shop were great about finding the right frame for me. I honestly couldn't have had a better experience! more

exact prescription 10/6/2008

I've had a fair number of eye exams in my day, and I can say that this one ranks at the top of my list. Foremost, the Dr. was committed to determining my exact prescription. He patiently switched back and forth between lens strengths when the difference was very small. At the end of the exam, the doctor used a redundant set of lenses (combined with my glasses) to settle the toss up. I had never seen this, and He kindly took the time to explain what governs the accuracies of each test. I was impressed. Some doctors I've had in the past ""guessed"" when the difference is close, or are curt when asked to switch back between lenses. If accuracy and attention to detail are important to you, this is your eye doctor. more

great office 10/4/2008

I had an appointment at this Eye Doctor office this morning and I loved the doctor and his staff! They were very nice! I didn't have to wait past my appointment time which is very hard to find an office like that! They showed me the results of my exams right there on the spot, told me everything they were doing and made it very easy to order my glasses afterwards! Ive had exams and glasses filled at another eye place and they werent as near as nice and there's takes 6 weeks! This office said my glasses will be back in 2-weeks! I would have liked to have them tinted there since I use them for driving primarily, but the have one more office in bowie that does tinting and said I could take them there and have them done on the spot or they could send them before I pick them up it would just take an extra day. But I am going to take them in because they can match the exact shade as the sunglasses I wear daily and love! So he needs to see the sunglasses to match thats great customer service and no extra cost to match them! Great pratice they have! more

great customer service 10/4/2008

I have been looking for an eye doctor for my family to got to. One of my girlfriends who lives near by was telling me about peepers and how much she loves the doctors and the girls that work there. I set up my appointment and the girl helped me figure out what insurance I had. I also got in pretty quickly and I saw Dr.Schwartz and he was very thorough and answered my questions. Then he brought me out of the office to Kristen who helped me pick out a frame and explained how my insurance worked for me. The turn around time was about a week. I went in to pick them up and they made sure that they fit my face and adjusted them for me. overall great service more
