Peale gave the keys to our home to "prospective buyers" who proceeded to terrorize us by pounding on the barred door while we were there and stalking the house. This after stating that all visits would be with someone from his office. Multiple missing items and disturbed bedroom drawers did not bother Peale or is dim-witted "prospective buyers". Keys finally returned after certified letter forced him to "locate" the good old boys and forced us to change locks at our expense. No Trespassing signs and increased patrols by Clinton Co. Sheriff were necessary to protect our property from this unacceptable lack of common sense in selling homes. "Prospective buyers" continue to drive out of their way to slowly pass by the property which, duh!, is no longer on the market. Better to keep your house no matter what than expose yourself to this type of unprofessional business practices. more

I had Ken Lundy as my realtor. He is a wonderful business man! He was there for me at every beck and call. I would highly recommend him to anyone choosing to by or sell in this hardship time. I am sorry to say but we hired a realtor from this office and after over 2 months of not hearing from her, no calls, no updats, nothing. We get an email 1 and half hours before a supposad showing ona house we were in the process of moving out of. I call the agent and ask why she didnt use my husbands work number or our cell phone numbers to get a hold of us and she replied she didnt know where my husband worked. Yet the agant had been to my husbands work place for him to sign papers. Then I ask why my house has not been in the paper.? well she went off telling me I was snapping at her and being rude. I was dumbfounded to hear I am being rude by asking legit questions of someone who stands to gain over 16,000.00 in commission on my home sale. Then she gets on the phone with my husband and said the reason my home isnt selling is because no one wants to deal with your wife. Excuse me??? She has yet to show the house and its not selling because of my wife!!! I was totally offended. She also tells us she has spoke to all the realators of highland county and because no one likes us no one wants to show our house. We are selling a high dollar home in which the realestate company stands to gain over 16,000.00 to split and they dont want to collect a 8000.00 pay check?? Come on give me a break, thats not even believable.And Because we have a mouth and stand up for what is right some may not like us. But those who know what we stand for respect us. I also thought the code of realators is not to discriminate, and she tells us straight from her mouth people wont show our home because we are not liked. Funny thing is we dont even know anyone around there but the schools and business but no one likes us? I also think its very unproffessional on the realestate side that it proves our point about why we feel like we do about certain realtors in Highland and Clinton Counties. Also the funny thing is we lived in Hillsboro for 3 years and was taken by just about everyone we dealt with, treated like garbage by the school district and craped on by the police when we needed help. We were robbed of animals and personal possessions and never had that problem until moving into hillsboro either. And we are not the only families that will speak of their expierence with hillsboro in this mannor. We are definatly not the first to have complaints about realtors. So just beware if these people want all this money for treating you like crap try to sell by owner first. You can get online for 200.00 under forsalebyowner.com and they will give you an mls listing, and you can place an add in the paper yourself and a sign in the yard. Thats all your getting from an agent and they think if you have something to say your being difficult and their inability to do their job and market the house is your wifes fault. Give me a break!!!
