The Pee Dee Spine Center is designed to offer patients with spinal disorders a wide range of cervical,thoracic,and lumbar spine care. The Spine Center consists of two Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeons and one Physiatrist performing techniques and procedures proven to be effective in total spine care.
The Spine Center offers diagnosis,education,counseling,treatment and medical management of suspected spinal disorders. With our highly trained medical staff,the Spine Center is able to focus on each individual need by providing non-surgical treatment,surgical treatment,second opinions for other spine surgeons,and chronic pain management. With our state of the art imaging machines such as digital X-ray and MRI,we are able to provide our patients with early diagnosis to provide treatment and medical management.
Our two specialized spine surgeons provide expertise for patients with minimally invasive surgery options,endoscopic techniques,image guided spinal implant placements,and other dynamic stabilization procedures. Our board certified physiatrist specializes in diagnosing and treating pain from a wide range of medical problems including sports injuries,musculoskeletal syndromes,and spinal disorders.
Emphasis is placed on disorders with the combined use of medications such as ESIs,electrodiagonstic testing such as Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies,and EMGs.
Our patient centered approach is committed to provide management and coordination of our spine patients by providing them with the newest technology available,educational tools,research studies,and advanced treatment options. We have a Primary Care Sports Medicine doctor and a Physician Assistant with the ability to treat your orthopaedic injuries focusing on the non-surgical and conservative methods of care. They will devise a strategic recovery plan with emphasis on casting,bracing,exercises,and/or injections. Treatment of musculoskeletal injuries requires a specialist's care and PDOA is striving to provide the Pee Dee with subspecialized care for each type of orthopaedic need.
