Pediatric Surgical Associates of Ft Worth

I, too, had the "unfortunate" need for the services of Pediatric Surgical Associates. My son needed surgery to correct a birth defect that caused a large "dip" in his chest wall. Our insurance company denied our claim because he needed a "cosmetic" procedure, even though he had always had some difficulty breathing. The pre-certification person at Pediatric Surgical Associates was wonderful, guiding our family through the appeals process until the insurance company agreed to cover the surgery and ensuing hospital stay. My son can now run without difficulty, hasn't needed a breathing treatment since the surgery, and has shot up from the 25% in height to 90% in the two years since the surgery. I had the "unfortunate" opportunity to need the services of Pediatric Surgical Associates, and the care was wonderful. I have met with 2 of the doctors in this group, and they are very skilled and have great bedside manners. The office staff is very nice, and the office is nicely decorated and neat. Exam rooms are not too small, and the wait was not too long. I have been there when the waiting room was crowded, but the office staff seemed to move the patients around pretty efficiently. more
