Worst

We left this practice because they were condescending to me concerning breastfeeding. They kept trying to tell me that my child was allergic to my breastmilk. It is very difficult...

Rude. Is that enough 7/2/2008

I heard numerous stories, all positive, about this office. Since I was looking for a new Dr for my child I thought I would give them a try.\r Needless to say I didn't make it further than the phone call.\r I was quickly informed in a huffed tone that they are not taking new patients. \r None of your doctors are taking new patients? No! And then she hung up.\r OK office manager - should you read any of these reviews take note. Even if your doctors were taking new patients, your office staff will help to make or break a practice! more

Can't complain. 2/25/2008

I have to say that I love taking my kids here. We were with Huntsville Pediatrics over in the medical mall and it was awful. Since moving my children here we've never had an ounce of problems. Our wait isn't too long, the Dr's listen to me when I have a concern and look into it. I am treated with respect, they don't humor me by listening then do nothing which has been my experience in the past with other Peds. I love Pediatrics Associates and so do my kids. more

Extreme Disappointment! 2/14/2008

We had a similar experience to the other reviewer who had been dismissed from the practice because of vaccine refusal (in my case, we missed the appointment by accident and they didn't give me a chance to make it up). \r \r They really hurt me and my whole family, but I have now forgiven the doctor who did this. I realize I had depression and anxiety and I was overly fearful about my children's health. I really wish they had noticed and told me to seek counseling, but I'm sure she had a lot on her plate too. About 8 months after the dismissal, I am now finally able to forgive. It hurt that much. I hope they never do it to anyone else. more

Wouldn't go anywhere else! 2/12/2008

Pediatric Associates of Madison is a strong practice anchored by female pediatricians, with which I feel children are most comfortable.\r \r The staff members, nurses especially, are very pleasant. They focus on your children and are sure to listen to what the children have to say about how they're feeling. \r \r Doctors and nurses at P.A.M. use comforting, gentle voices with the children, and I've never had a child get upset there. My children look forward to a lollipop and/or a sticker at the end of their visit!\r \r If you call first thing in the morning with a sick child, they WILL see you that day.\r \r I used Pediatric Associates when I lived in Harvest 10 years ago, and then we moved away. When we moved back to the area, in Madison, one of the first things I did was to ask if they had room for my children in their busy practice. Thankfully they did!\r \r My niece is also served by this office, and they hospitalized her immediately upon suspicion of RSV recently. She's doing beautifu more

Never Again 11/27/2007

We visited this office twice and were not impressed.\r \r First, the "well room" and "sick room" are only separated by a partition. Toys are interchanged between the rooms and your once "well" child is now sick with something by the time they leave the office.\r \r Second, the doctors heavily push all vaccinations; even ones not required by the state. A child's immune system takes roughly 6 months to fully recover from a single vaccination. On top of that, there are many credible studies that show that a child's immune system is not designed to take so many vaccinations all at once. Based upon our religious convictions, we planned to stagger out the vaccinations. Pediatric Associates of Madison replied by telling us we would have to find another pediatrician. more

Friendly & Helpful 1/5/2007

We moved to the area and used Ped. Associates for the children's immunizations cards. When one of the kids was sick 2 months later, they had retrieved all of our old records. The nurses and doctors made the children comfortable and they helped with referrals to allergy specialists and eye doctors. They made our transition to a new state EASY!!! more

Excellent for children 8/21/2005

We love Pediatric Associates. We started taking our daughter when she was 2 & they have always been awesome at making her comfortable & we always leave with no tears shed. They have a large wall with many cool toys for kids to pick when they're done with their exam & my daughter loves that. All of the staff are top-notch. Their facilities are sparkling clean with a fun space themed waiting room. We wouldn't go anywhere else. more
