Large practice, Very helpful 1/7/2013

They have two locations. The Mills office is open 7 days a week, 365 days out of the year. Ocoee is the prettier office. Weekend and holidays there are two doctors available and 4 nurses. They provide same day sick appointments. Yes we may experience a long wait time for appointments; however, I have never felt rushed during my appointment because a doctor is behind. Moreover, it depends on what doc you see. It is still a doctors office so with that said who enters a doctors office and heads straight to the exam room??? The staff is very helpful. Triage will answer any question you have. Overall great practice!!! more

Great doctors 11/10/2010

My two daughters have had the same doctor since they were both born. Dr Gordon is the best, he is very friendly, remembers the girls and our family. The only bad part is he is popular and if we need an appointment we have to make it sometimes 2 months in advance. more

Love Pediatric Associates of Orlando 4/18/2010

We have been seeing Dr Britton since my 2nd son was 6 months old - he is 8 1/2 years old now. We go to the Windermere office mostly and it is great. If my kids are sick we are in the same day. Dr Britton has always taken his time and answered all of my questions. All 3 of my kids have issues going to see him. Going to the Mills office for sick appts is great to have available too. Pediatric Associates of Orlando is wonderful and the staff is very helpful. more

Dr. Silverman is great!! 3/25/2010

Dr. Silverman is my daughter's doctor for 10 years. We feel so secure under her care and just love her for her expertise, knowledge, experience and "right to the point" attitude. She always gave my daughter the best care. We love Dr. Silverman!!! more

Highly Recommended 7/8/2009

Good: We have a nearly six month old baby and have been taking him to Pediatric Associates since his birth. He is our first child and of course, we take him to the doctor for every little thing. We have seen several of the physicians and have absolutely no problems with any of them. Each doctor we have seen picks up where the other left off, is patient, listens to all of our questions, and gives easy to understand answers. We never feel rushed and always leave feeling reassured about our child's health.. Bad: Yes, there can be a wait sometimes, but seriously, even with a long ago scheduled appointment what doctor's office doesn't have a wait?. Other: The stairs to the office are a pain especially with an infant in a car seat carrier.. more

Bad Bad Bad 10/8/2008

Good: Nothing. Well may be Dr Ryan. She was always good to my child.. Bad: The way they acted up when I went for a second opinion. I don't know who they are, why should I trust them???? TO me they are strangers. I have every right to question their diagnosis.. more

Not Good 10/8/2008

They recently terminated the relationship with us saying that the reason is that I went for a second opinion some four months back. I told them that this was unfair. I was entitled to a second opinion or for that matter a third opinion. This is my child we are talking about. I think it is rediculous and pathetic the way this practice work. more

front desk is the problem. 11/26/2007

I love the doctors I have seen here. My issue is with the front desk. They don't ever seem to know what is going on. The girl that checks people out while Ive been there is very blah. Not nice, not mean ..just blah. I get annoyed that they don't know when my sons next appointment should be.I would think that the doctor would write that in the folder or something. But most of all, I was really upset when I had an appointment that I changed and they tried to charge me $50 for their mistake. I had a change of insurance.so I had to postpone the appointment. I spoke to 2 different people to confirm and it still got screwed up.They ended up not charging me..but now there is a note saying that it happened..so if it ever happens again, I will not be excused. Make sure you get the name of the person you are dealing with!!!! more

Going to miss them 10/30/2007

Finally we found a Pediatrician that we love and feel comfortable with! I have never been so relaxed with a Dr.! Dr. Didea is the best EVER! He never makes you feel stupid for any of your questions or concerns. He is a wealth of information and is always updated on the latest. He gives you his opinion but allows you to make the decision as the parent without feeling bad or like you have made a terrible decision. I highly recommend a million times over! Believe it or not, the hardest part about leaving FL was leaving Dr. Didea as he is that wonderful! ~m~ more

Pediatric Associates of Orlando the best in the area 9/28/2007

Very Professional, very curteous staff. Also, on paper, Dr. Di Dea is the best educated and experienced Pediatrician in all of Central Florida!! One thing they could improve on is to have a play area for the kids within the waiting room while they are waiting to be seen. more

We endure the large practice for Dr. Coffman 7/7/2006

We've been taking our two children since birth (oldest now age three) and try to see Dr. Coffman if possible. He is always gracious yet professional. He has a good manner with our kids. He asks lots of questions and is always open to answering any of our questions. He seems genuinely interested in our children’s overall development as people, not just their physical bodies. I would prefer to see him in a smaller practice, but he's worth the hassles of a larger business. When I was in a few weeks ago, I asked one of the docs how many patients they have. He said about 30,000. With 10 doctors that's about 3,000 kids per doctor. Yes, that’s quite a few and there are downfalls to that. I sometimes get the idea that our doctor doesn't really remember us at first. But usually after a minute or two, he seems to put it all together and we have a great conversation. In general... Pros: • You can get an appointment on a moments notice. • The ask-a-nurse service is very helpful. Be sure to ask lots of questions if you are uncertain about the advise they are giving They want to educate you. • Well waiting and sick waiting ares are separate, with additional separate waiting for teens and newborns (pre-immunization). • Open-house for interested families/ expectant parents. • They make calls for newborn exams at FL Hospital. • Even if our preferred doctor is not available, all of the other docs have access to our children’s records. Cons: • There can be a long wait for same-day sick visit. • It can be difficult to get an appointment with a specific doctor. • A few times we have had a long wait, even for scheduled well-check appointments. This is probably to be expected at a large practice. more

Pedes Associates- Dr Phillips location 8/19/2005

We've been seeing Dr Ryan for 3 yrs now. The entire practice is so great we drive 1/2 hr to see them. They always get you in when your kids are sick. They are up to date w/ current AAP guidelines. The wait can be long, but thats because they give patients the attention they need more

Excellent 8/12/2005

I've been taking my kids to this office for four years. They always have appointment available whenever I need them, and the receptionist staff is so very courteous. I've seen several different doctors from this practice and all of them took excellent care of my children. I also really like the ask-a-nurse hotline they have available to patients. I also like that they have seperate waiting areas for sick children and the non-sick children. Wait times are never very long, and I just love this place! more
