Worst experience ever 9/16/2008

This was hands down one of the worst experiences ever. I am new to the area and live in the pearl. I guess this is what you get when you find a doctor through advertising and he is looking for new patients. The way he treated me i am thinking he will be looking for new patients for the rest of his career. I felt the quality of care was horrendous. The doctor was rushed and never bothered talk to me about anything. Seemed like his mind was on something else. He was unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. Would not recommend this place to someones dog. more

Differing communication styles. Great nurses! 8/25/2008

Sadly, Dr. Jung is no longer with the practice, and at the time of my last visit they were unable to share information about her where abouts. Dr. Jung was caring, pleasant, professional and compassionate. I will truly miss having her as a doctor. Pros: Great nurses, nice location Cons: Crowded waiting room, hurried doctor, lack of compassion and poor beside manner. more

Dr. Rosenfield is the Best 8/11/2008

I've been a patient for about 2 years after being referred by a friend. Dr. Rosenfield is professional, customer-focused, compasionate, and I've had nothing but great experiences. I refer all my friends to the Pearl Women's Center. more

Kudos for Dr. Jung 6/30/2008

I too agree with the previous post about Dr. Jung. I recently met with her for a consult and found the whole expeirence to be exceptionally good. I had no problem scheduling an appointment and I was met by professional and caring staff. Dr. Jung was prompt and waiting time was minimal. She treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. Dr. Jung was very thorough and took the time to explain to me my condition and options for treatment. I appreciate the care given to me and will recommend her to my family and friends. Pros: professional staff and caring staff, welcoming environment - not sterile but warm Cons: parking a bit tight more

I've Met The Best GYN Ever! Dr Jung 6/30/2008

I've been to several different GYN's and after all of these years I finally found the Best. I've suffered from pelvic pain for many years and after going to the Pearl Women's Center and having a consultation with Dr Jung I finally feel like I've got some answers. She listened to what I said and didn't make me feel that my problem was not all in my head.(I've been told that before) I loved that she didn't just recommend surgery right off the bat. She recommended conservative treatment first and best of all, she asked me if I was ok with the plan! The office was BEAUTIFUL too!! That was the icing on the cake. Anyone who has any kind of a Gyn problem, I definitely recommend Dr Jung! Pros: Gorgeous Office, Got in right away more

A Refreshing Change 4/10/2008

I have been a patient of Dr. Rosenfield's for about a year or so now. I would have to disagree with the previous poster on many points. First of all, Dr. Rosenfield is a very kind hearted and caring doctor, not once did I feel rushed so he could get to the next patient, unlike how other clinics sometimes make you feel. When I came to Dr. Rosenfield I had severe chronic pelvic pain. A friend suggested I go to him, as this is one of his specialties. For many years I had gone to ERs and other doctors, and was treated as if all I wanted was pain medication. I was humiliated and defeated. Dr. Rosenfield took the time to find out what was happening, he explained many things about my issue, that no one in almost 15 years had taken the time to explain. Not once did he mention that I needed a hysterectomy, he wanted to start off conservative and work on that. He offered me trigger point injection, which basically is an injection of a local medication and a steroid. I agreed and I walked out of his office WITHOUT pain. His staff is very kind and helpful. I feel fortunate that he was suggested to me. I can trust that he has my best interests in mind. He does not ""sell"" hysterectomies. What he does do, is show that there is a different more personal option. An option that does not involve an assembly line hospital. You are very well taken care of at PWC. At a hospital you would spend the night and be treated like a number. The commercials that are on during Oprah, are not to ""SELL"" a product, they are to put into your mind that there is a better, more personal way to be treated for women's health. It does not mean Dr. Rosenfield is looking to take out as many uterus as possible. He cares, genuinely, for his patient's. His concern is you, his focus is you. I ask you, what more would you want from your gynecologist? Pros: A personal, kind, focused Women's health center more

CLIENTS BEWARE 4/10/2008

I visted this doctor for an emergency and I although the office is posh & modern....(Buyer Beware).......and he did the job he was suppose to and not much more. I would have to say his deameanor was immature and unproffessional. He is known for his LHS........Laparscopic Hysterectomy's..........I've seen his commericials on televisions during Oprah as well. Well big whoppi..........any one can remove your uterus.......but that doesn't always solve the problem,,,,,,,,and it's totally uncalled for in many situations. I was lucky enough to do my own research and have an expert do the real operation needed. So ladies don't be taken in by the fact that someone has a posh office in the pearl district.......I wouldn't let anyone remove my uterus unless it was a life or death situation cuz of the other host of problems that can cause........get a second and third Opinion......Good Luck All!! more

Unbelievable 12/23/2007

My story is actually a very long one. I have been suffering from very painful pelvic pain and cramping for about a year and a half. All the drs in my area were just shrugging their shoulders at my pain and I would walk out without any answers and the pain still there. I gave up trying and have continued to get worse. I was a very active person who can now barely make it through the day without curling up in the fetal position a couple times a day. Ladies this is no way to live. This part may sound funny, but my sister was watching Opra Winfrey one day and saw the Pearl Womens Center on TV. She called me and told me to check it out. I waiting for a couple months, figuring they wouldn't be able to help me either, before calling (It is about an hour drive) and making an appointment. The nurse and dr both listened and talked with me about my symptoms and how it has effected me and a hysterectomy was recommended. I left the office that day a little scared at the outcome, but overwhelmed that another dr wasn't shrugging his shoulders at me. Cons: Parking is very limited and hard to get into more

Dr Rosenfield is sooo nice 11/12/2006

I find the people in the pearl women's center to be soo nice and helpful. Before going there for the first time I was a little bit skeptical and thought I was going to have to deal with snubs (like many places on the pearl), but my experience was, in fact, very satisfactory. Pros: location, they give you same day appointments, the staff is soo nice. Cons: parking and price more

A spa with a Speculum ! 6/2/2006

Funny but true, The Pearl Women's Center is like a spa with a speculum. By far the nicest, warmest, most friendly doctor's office I have been to- Face it, none of us really look forward to going to see the ole' Gyn-O, but let me tell you ladies... this place makes you feel like they actually care . Gorgeous waiting room, great magazines, friendly staff, ontime appointment (yeah, really !) AND, REALLY GOOD CARE. Pros: beautiful and clean, ontime, customer service more

great bed-side manners 4/26/2006

i moved to the Pearl about 2 years ago, and since then, i've had to drive to beaverton to see my women's doctor. Dr. Rosenfield came recommended from two of the ladies who live in my building, and so between the proximity, and the stellar reviews, i couldn't go wrong. Dr. Rosenfield was extremely gentle, which was very important to me. But what impressed me the most was that he *listened*. Simple as that. I am glad his office is so close by, and i'm glad i made the change. Pros: amazing office, caring staff more

User review by elleasea 4/24/2006

I am usually uncomfortable (actually VERY uncofortable) with male GYN's byt Dr. Rosenfield was very gentle, quick and professional. His nurse (female) stayed in the room the entire time. I did not feel anxious or nervous. He was also very knowlegable and down to earth about different oral contraceptives. The atmosphere was wonderfully clean, and very pretty. I definitely recommend this doctor and his entire staff. I'll be coming back. (Thanks for the good needle work on my bloodwork - not even a bruise or tenderness!) Pros: good parking, great atmosphere, very clean more
