I have been a patient of Dr. Rosenfield's for about a year or so now. I would have to disagree with the previous poster on many points. First of all, Dr. Rosenfield is a very kind hearted and caring doctor, not once did I feel rushed so he could get to the next patient, unlike how other clinics sometimes make you feel. When I came to Dr. Rosenfield I had severe chronic pelvic pain. A friend suggested I go to him, as this is one of his specialties. For many years I had gone to ERs and other doctors, and was treated as if all I wanted was pain medication. I was humiliated and defeated. Dr. Rosenfield took the time to find out what was happening, he explained many things about my issue, that no one in almost 15 years had taken the time to explain. Not once did he mention that I needed a hysterectomy, he wanted to start off conservative and work on that. He offered me trigger point injection, which basically is an injection of a local medication and a steroid. I agreed and I walked out of his office WITHOUT pain. His staff is very kind and helpful. I feel fortunate that he was suggested to me. I can trust that he has my best interests in mind. He does not ""sell"" hysterectomies. What he does do, is show that there is a different more personal option. An option that does not involve an assembly line hospital. You are very well taken care of at PWC. At a hospital you would spend the night and be treated like a number. The commercials that are on during Oprah, are not to ""SELL"" a product, they are to put into your mind that there is a better, more personal way to be treated for women's health. It does not mean Dr. Rosenfield is looking to take out as many uterus as possible. He cares, genuinely, for his patient's. His concern is you, his focus is you. I ask you, what more would you want from your gynecologist?
Pros: A personal, kind, focused Women's health center
