Pearl has five wonderful stories full of every single art supply you could possibly imagine. Each floor is dedicated to some specific type of item -- paper, paint, etc. It's wonderful. I can spend hours walking through the fantastic and creaky building (I love the atmosphere!) and browse through tons and tons of stuff. And the prices are usually quite cheap and reasonable. The employees are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. more

The place to go for art supples 10/6/2005

If you need anything from paint brushes to paper to canvases to .... you name it, go to Pearl Paint. They have a tremendous selection of art supplies and the staff working there are extremely gracious and helpful in making sure that you can find everything you need. It's worth the trip to go there to get whatever you want. Their prices are very reasonable and the selection cannot be beat. more

Located on Canal Street, Pearl Paint offers anything artistics. Looking for stationary? Paints? Clay? Pens? Well, I'm pretty sure that you can find it here. Anything artistic is located in its 5 floor, even though the walk to the top may be exhausting, its better than waiting for the old elevator that takes forever and sound like its about to break. Even if youre not an artist, this is a wonderful place to just look around, and there would be something that would interest you. more
