terrible place to live 1/16/2011

Its a terrible place to live, by far the worst place i've ever rented. First of all, its cheap rent because the place is falling apart. It smells funny. There is only one hot water heater per building so the water temperature of the shower always varies. The appliances are cheap and break often. The insulation is poor and heat leaks out constantly. They're greedy and nickle and dime you. They stopped signing for packages so you have to go to the post office to pick them up. They charge extra fees to use the pool and gym. They have monthly parking fees. The have harsh late fees for rent. The people at the office are rude, I've waited while they finished their private phone calls before helping me. The outside is well maintained but only to make the whole place look less dilapidated. the walls are so thin I can hear the guy next door opening his closet. Do yourself a favor and don't live here. they're crooks. more

Ridiculous Hidden Fees 1/6/2011

When moving into the apartment complex, the people were extremely friendly and helpful. The moving transition was painless, maitenance is always speedy. However, I am being charged a $5 parking fee-even though I have NO car. If I did have a car, the $5 parking fee doesn't even cover the parking spaces around my building. At least 90% of spaces are RESERVED parking, and for that you'd have to pay an ADDITIONAL $15/month. My heater has gone out 4 times in the entire month I've lived here. When I decided to get a roommate, she filled out the application and they didn't tell us until AFTER she paid the $46 application fee that it would cost nearly $1000 to upgrade from a one bedroom to a two bedroom. They say even though I've only lived there a month, it will cost them $2000 to turn it...which doesn't make much sense seeing as how either way, one apartment will be empty...I think I'd rather be making $900 off a two bedroom than $650 off a one bedroom each month. Plus, a transfer fee. Plus, more
