I received my annual ""female"" exam from Dr. Shapiro. She was relatively friendly and her bedside manner was decent, but I had to wait a while to see her, and once I was in her office, I felt a bit rushed. About a month after my appointment, I received a rather large bill in the mail from a diagnostic company. Apparently they had run a test on me without informing me that it was being done, and it turned out that my insurance company only covers that particular test for women over the age of 30. I am 29. I felt that the test was conducted in error, so I contacted them to discuss why they would have run that test on me. I was transferred between at least three different people over the course of two weeks, all of whom told me something different, and I definitely felt like I was getting the run around. I feel that the fee for the test should have been waived, but the end result is I'm stuck with paying the large bill. Don't think I'll be going back.
Pros: Nice office building
Cons: Long wait, Staff gives you the run-around
