Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, which gives it both good and bad points. The good part is a beautiful theater with a great selection of live theater. The theater itself is architecturally stunning. Season passes are available which make it very affordable to see all they have to offer. Shows range from Broadway musicals to stand up to orchestral performances.. this year alone you can see "The Boyfriend", The Three Tenors and a perfomance of Mozart's music. The only downside, and it's a big one, is parking. There is a lot of parking downtown in theory, but that can be next to impossible to find after 6 p.m. The idea of enjoying a downtown restaurant and walking to the Peace Center is great, as long as you are prepared to spend some time finding a place to leave your car.
