I first lured into this shop by the free wi-fi. The ""baristas"" are rude and do not even try to greet you or make conversation. I feel like I am a hindrence when I come in. I will continue to spend my coffee dollar at Starbucks. I always have great service there and never feel like I am bothering them by patronizing them. My fiancee and I got addicted to their Caramel crunch lattes and polar bear/frozen bear summer drink combos when we lived in Boulder... Now we're living in Tokyo, Japan and miss Peaberrys drinks... Pros: delicious drinks, caramel crunch, summer flavors Cons: expensive habit more

THE ABSOLUTE BEST! 1/13/2003

Peaberry Coffee does not have the burnt flavor that Starbucks coffee has. The employees are friendly, unlike at Starbucks. At Starbucks you are treated like a number. However, at Peaberry Coffee you are treated like a customer! The punch card is also great. My daughter enjoys going too because the employees always say ""Hi"" and she loves the polar bear cookies and poppyseed bread. As far as prices go, I feel they are very competitive to other coffee places. The flavor of their coffee can't be beat. Pros: Great coffee, Friendly, Punch card more

Drive past Starbucks every day 10/29/2002

I go out of my way to drive past the local Starbucks every day to go that extra distance to Peaberry's. It is a far better cup of coffee and a far friendlier neighborhood experience than Starbucks ever hoped to be. more

This is by far the best coffe in Colorado. When I lived near one, I went daily. The people and the coffee made for an excellent experience. But now I am in Ft. Collins and we don't have one. But when I go home, I always go to Peaberry. The best part are the Heath toppings on the Caramel Crunch! more

The Best Way to Start My Day! 10/14/2002

My local Peaberry's (I have 2: Iliff & Peoria-Aurora, and Union Blvd-Lakewood) are the best! The staff is terrific - and they remember me! I feel like I'm supporting a great local company which delivers a great (and tasty) product. My lattes are yummy and piping hot in the winter, and the frozen bear in summer is a real winner! Try it! You can't miss!! Pros: Always friendly staff, Easy parking, Pastry never "old" Cons: Can be really busy, Need more locations more

The coffee is generally really good, foo foo drinks included. I still think Starbucks makes a better latte but I don't know the difference in how they make it better. The two big complaints I have about Peaberry's is the typical teenagers who work there and don't really know about customer service... or care. And the ambience or atmosphere. I'm a young person but I don't like listening to Britney or Backstreet Boys. If they played classical or jazz I might stay for a while, as it is I get mine to go. One of the things I don't like about Starbucks (who doesn't have several?) is that they give their coffees ""catchy"" names - Morning Misto, Bold 'n Beautiful, Dark 'n Dull, etc. but you don't know what beans are in there. Not so at Peaberry - they have the intelligence to classify their beans by (gasp!) their place of origin - what a concept. If you want Columbian, you can get it. If you want Sulawese, you can get it. If you want dark french roast, you'll know what it's made with. Great place for cold or iced coffee drinks in the summer as well. Pros: variety, coffee gizmos more

Peaberry Coffee is, far and away, the leader in the coffee industry. Their drinks are well made from the only the finest beans, and seriously, they don't torch them like they do at Charbucks. Their Frozen Tea drinks are a dream, and who doesn't want a a nice chilled coffee drink in the hot summer afternoon. The staff is exceptional as well, many know a trick or two that will take your beverage from fun to fabulous! You don't even need to know what you want, ask them to surprise you, and they will, with tasty goodness. Nothing, I mean it, nothing beats out Peaberry Coffee. Damn.
