This is a must stop whenever were on a trip to Northern California. They may not have a great or even good wine selection, but there's just something about that pea soup and all the fixings that makes it so good. Plus, you have to get the picture as pea-wee and hap-pea. more

Good Old Andersen's 9/3/2010

My family has been stopping at Andersen's since I was a little boy. Can't beat the Traveler's Special for a quick bite. Sure, the restaurant has seen better days and the booths are worn... but there's something nostalgic about it that demands a stop. more

YUMMM!!!!!! 1/11/2009

We were on a road trip from Arizona to Seattle and Santa Nella happened to be one of our overnight stops. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and when we saw the Andersen's pea soup sign when driving in, we knew we were in for a yummy dinner! more

Great stopping point when driving California 6/2/2005

There are two Pea Soup Andersons, but this one happens to be nicely located right on the 5 freeway running straight up through California. There are nearby gas stations which makes this an ideal spot for a stretch and fill-up before heading on. There is a gift shop with various items for travelers, clean restrooms, and the restaurant itself which has very nice food. There is a large parking lot out front should you need a place to pull over. In general, a good place to stop and eat before driving on. more
