Contacted Jason on a Friday. He asked if he could send some1 in the morning. I agreed. He sent Nick who took the drain apart and ran auger in drain for 2 min, but nothing came out. He found hole in pipe which prevented testing for clog. He was unable to replace the pipe. He tried to upsell me $600 of unnecessary work.Jason, the owner, called me to tell me that it was $200 for the clog removal and that if I paid Nick for his work that the work was guaranteed for 30 days. I paid Nick $200. Had another plumber take a look at the pipe. He was able to immediately remove the defective pipe for $135. We saw the clog was still blocking the drain. He asked if I needed the clog removed, I told him that I've already paid another plumber for that and it was "guaranteed", so he left. I texted Jason @ 4:14 PM, the owner of Payless, to see what his schedule looked like but he did not reply. So, I texted him again @ 5:04 PM. He replied @ 5:05 PM, telling me that he was in the middle of a job and that he would call me later. He never did. Wednesday morning, I call him at 8:32 AM, he tells me that he can come out, but since he didn't get to do the $600 of work, he's going to bill me $50 to make good on his "guaranteed" clog removal. I told him that was not what I agreed to on Saturday. He said something to the effect of "Well, you've already paid me $200, in for a penny in for a pound." Bottom line: I paid for a clog removal that was never performed. His guarantee is not worth the paper it is printed on. (it's not even printed, just BS.) He will not refund the money. I ended up paying a 3rd plumber to remove the clog! Worthless as a plumber and not even very entertaining review from where I stand.
