Editorial review from Urbanspoon 12/30/2011

I was very interested in returning to this restaurant after my first visit. On the first visit I tried a seafood soup ("King of the Sea") that was the best I can remember. The experience was not to be repeated. The second time I patroned the restaurant, the soup was terrible. That was one of three strikes\r \r Our heavy set Caucasian waitress was completely inattentive and when she finally decided she would wait on us (she actually announced: " I will now wait on" you after the couple next to us, who arrived later, had already begun eating), the order was completely bungled.\r \r We ordered an appetizer, soup/salad, and sushi/sashimi.\r \r The first thing out was sashimi, not our appetizer. An impolite Asian gentleman (not our server) brought them out.\r \r Next came my soup (though we asked for appetizer first). I was brought miso and not the seafood soup and it took quite some time for the waitress to come and recognize the mistake. Finally, the soup I ordered arrived. again brought by this gentleman. I asked why so much confusion and his response was that it was our waitress' first day. This was obviously a lie.\r \r The waitress stood and spoke to a couple who were seated after us for quite some time before ever taking our order or even acknowledging us. We were never even given her name, there was no introduction. The couple knew her by name and spoke to her as if they were regulars. They were served and eating before we got a thing and she continued to engage in friendly banter with the couple while our needs went unmet and this gentleman came and went without regard for our comfort.\r \r I had asked for hot oil (which again, I was gladly given the first time) but was told they only had hot sauce. The soup itself was overloaded with tomatoes and tasted rather like tomato soup and not a broth.\r \r When our appetizer finally arrived, it was wrong as well. We ordered Spring rolls as our appetizer, as we did the first visit. On the first visit, they were nice, cold, stuffed rice paper rolls. We were brought what appeared to be their deep fried summer rolls by the same gentleman who now insisted they do not serve cold spring rolls and that what was in front of us was in fact spring rolls.\r \r At that point, I said I could not eat in the restaurant due to the unprofessional service and the gentleman exclaimed "Leave!".\r \r I have never had such a horrible dining experience. I cannot even speculate that the service was poor because it was chaotically busy; it wasn't. There were empty tables and the dining area is small. \r \r Why in the world would anyone PAY to receive such poor food or service? I certainly wouldn't. more
