Payal Beauty Parlour

I used to go to Payal before but NEVER AGAIN!! Horrible service. The staff is very rude and criticize their customers as soon as they leave. They mess up the eyebrows very bad and when ask for particular staff to do it- they bluntly refuse stating they take turns and therefore won't do it since it's not their turn. Anytime I went for facial, they come up with one or more excuse and never do the facial. The staff is not interested in doing it since they lose on 1 hour of tips. They would rather be doing eyebrows which (again) they mess up completely. I'll go without eyebrows or facial but won't go there for sure!! more

I used to go to Payal Beauty Parlour in Parsippany, but not anymore. I am completely happy I changed beauty parlours, because PAYAL IS HORRIBLE. The staff has such bad manners, and they make you wait forever. They do not show any kindness towards you. They make you pay extra if you find one more hair on your upper lip or are not satisfied with your eyebrows. Plus, they're style for eyebrows is horrible; they always messed up my mother's eyebrows. And, they make it too thin; if you tell them this, they refuse to make changes. THEY DESTROYED MY MOTHER'S EYEBROWS!!! So, I now refuse to go to Payal. Hope everyone takes my experience at Payal seriously. more

My sister actually lives in new york right now, but she does come home at least once a month. and usually when she comes home she spends some time at payal beauty parlour to get her pedicure done. She absolutely loves it. They even let her wear their flip flops home...i guess that's a good thing, but bad for me because my sister always asks me to return them for her. more

Payal is a great salon. They take unisex clients, and are a full-service beauty salon. It's well staffed, so there's never a wait (except probably on weekends). The place is large and well-lit. They take every hygeine and safety precaution. Payal does great haircuts and maintenence. But that's the least of it. They do face care/grooming. Bleaching, facials, etc. They THREAD. If you've never had your eyebrows threaded, you have never had perfect eyebrows. I get compliminted on my brows all the time. Threading is clean and precise, not painful at all (it tugs during the process, but there is no after-pain). There is no funny reaction to chemicals or the harsh schock of waxing. I get a little apprehensive when it comes to waxing by brows .. what if the lady hand moves wrong and I end up w/ funny looking eyebrows?? The staff at Payal are expert threaders. They also do formal make-up and hair for special occasions. They offer henna service (I had a henna party once as a bridal shower and it was a huge hit!) They have private rooms for waxing and facial services. Very discreet and professional. more

I like Payal beauty Parlour a lot.I am a regular customer there.The service is very friendly.The atmosphere is good.I get my eyebrows and hair done there.The hair cuts are very good.You can choose from the catalog and get the look in minutes.I haven't got a facial there yet but I think it will be good too. more
