i want down there this girl that works there stephanie with the short hair is wonderful she was very kind and help me pick out the perfect food and treat for my bulldog sammy. i was so happy i went there thanks stephanie. Pros: wide selection of products Cons: none everything is great more

unlike the review under me ismael did a wonderful job on my toy poodle. My dog was in need of help and paws in paradise was open on 4th of july ismael was grooming what groomer does that shows how much he loves his job. i was shock how good my dog looked he even found fleas and mad him look like a dog lolyou do your thing i will be back i dont care what anyone says you are great thanks Pros: great service more

I took my Cavalier to get groomed here with Ismael based on the reviews and guess what? the guy did a terrible job, the hair cut was very uneven, he shaved off so much in one area that you could see his skin and his head and ears had long and short strands...and to top it off he scrubbed one of his paws so hard that my poor dog was in pain for a couple of days...needless to say i will never go back to this place Cons: everything more

We took our cat down there to be groom. we been to other places but really didn't like there work. We heard of Ishmael in paws in paradise so we gave him a try. Excellent work no mats and he smalls great. Great groomer. Pros: Great cat groomer Cons: parking more

Great Pet groomer in Nyc 12/31/2008

Brought my dog sammy a coton de tulear in for a groom. My dog is amazingly frigid but they did a wonderful job to him and the staffs is amazingly nice . Highly recommend !\r \r Pro: Nice places , Great Staffs and very professional !\r Con: Parking is kinda hard to find but I guess that's our fault for going on a busy day xD more

Ishmael the groomer down in paws in paradise is the greatest. my dog a german sheaper is a handfull i fear that ishmael or my dog would get hurt. he told me dont worry i havent hurt a dog and im not going to start now. i just thought he was crazy i went home and pryed lol a hbour later got a call my dog was ready. wow is all i could say this guy is quick a big dog like that done in a hour i couldent belive it. so i go there ishmael is still alive and my dog was so clean and he wasn't shedding wow is see a couple reveiews out there about the other groomer i dont know but you guys better not start with ishmael he is the real deal i read all the reveiws before and thought it was all hype. but he is that good it's been a couple of months and my dog still looks good if they refuse to do your dog in some other place just bring it down to paws in paradise and ask for ishmael that boy has some type of taming powers or something lol great job!!!!!!!! Pros: ishmael is very good with aggrissive dogs Cons: so good you cant write a con more

My little dog is very fussy about who she likes, and usually when I show up at a place, such as daycare, she acts like she wants to attack everyone. However, my dog likes Stephanie a lot. She gave Stephanie a kiss when I came to pick her up and didn't seem angry at all. Shephanie must have a very gentle manner when she is grooming sensitive dogs.\r \r Also, my dog was very matted when I brought her to Stephanie. She was away for a few months and hadn't been combed. She got a nice hair cut and was combed out beautifully. Pros: Kind to Animals Cons: Should make vaccination records manditory more

  • Paws in Paradise is Park Slope Brooklyn's newest one stop shopping pet superstore. We offer doggy daycare, overnights, cat and dog grooming, and many many supplies and treats in our boutique.

    We have 2 dog runs for play and exercise including a doggy treadmill and heated floors for nap time. We have a large outdoor play area for the dogs to socialize and get fresh air. There will always be a staff member with the pets to keep them safe and social. We keep detailed records of your pet's daily activities which you will receive at the end of each day. We also have a brand new grooming facility to keep your pets looking their best. Paws in Paradise is an ABKA Member and our groomer is Certified from New York School of Dog Grooming.
