At first I was grateful to have found a place that so totally seemed to care and had such nice staff. Then, after signing the agreement and writing the check, I used the public restroom and OMG what a nastly bathroom. I was terribly upset but my hands were tied. When I moved my sister in, they had zero counseling for her. When people would die as they do when they get old and things happen, they had zero counseling. It took me 3 weeks of constant complaining to get them to clean her toilet. My sister split a room the size of a holiday in hotel room for way too much money and ended up crammed into a corner. The cabinetry that was in the room must be 30 years or older including the bathroom. They use chlorine bleach with her one load of laundry that they do for her and so just as I suspected, anything she had that was white is now pink. They spray the hallways with febreeze but it just isn't enough. The people that come off of the 3rd floor where additional care is needed often smell of urine or feces. There are thousands of cigarette butts around the entrance to the building. They have had the pool closed for at least 3 weeks now for repairs. They do absolutely nothing to make their residents feel at home. They don't try to get them involved in anything. And now they have been quarantined for an outbreak that they suspects is from feces in the food. If there were negative stars, that is what I would rate the Pavilion.
Cons: Bad smells;dirty bathroom; Chlorine bleach on all clothing;
