Todd Phillip my hair is yours 6/28/2006

I found Todd Phillip in the Allure Magazines, Febuary 2006 additionand I am so thankful because he he really was even more then what I expected. My hair is very long fine and straight and the is alot of it.... if it is not cut well it shows it but if it is cut well not to mention perfectly as he did it... my life seems so much better in so many ways!!. I have gone to the best everywhere.....and paid ridiculous money for what I felrt was not even worth itbut this guy Todd not only was better then anyone I have tried in the past... but he really took his time, listened to me and took 1hour and 15 mins. to do a beautifully perfect hair cut and style He made me feel so Beautiful and very desirable!! I love when that happens! more

Amazing Atmosphere! 6/24/2006

I went to this salon beacause I was saw a girl in Publix with the greatest hair, she sent me to Paula for highlights and Todd for color. They were both super professionals, My hair came out amazing and I look foward to going back. They really made me feel comfortable. While I was there I had a manicure with Mauricio, I've never had a guy do my nails but Im telling you he was AMAZING!! Really, the whole experience was a breath of fresh air. believe me there is no attitude in there. Pros: its just about your hair! I made a 6pm highlight appointment! more

Best Overall EVER! 6/14/2006

I recently started going to Paula, maybe a year ago, I LOVE HER! and then I had my nails done with Teresita and waxing with Nini. I cant believe how AMAZING they both are. I have never expereinced a salon where I can get it all done, and sooo well! Pros: no attitude, cookies and coffee... more

Great haircut from Todd 4/25/2006

I have very fine straight hair that is extremely difficult to manage in this humidity. It pretty much just hangs there with no body. I recently moved here from NY and have been looking for a good stylist. I have tried a few places here in Miami and have been dissappointed. Todd at Paulas is GREAT!!! He cut my hair perfectly. My hair now has a lot of body and looks healthy! I highly recommend Todd. Paulette more

You won't find a better salon anywhere 4/18/2006

I started going to Paula about 10 years ago and I have to say that she is the best colorist I have ever met and Todd gave me the best haircut I have ever had! I moved from Miami to Raleigh NC 4 years ago and I have not been happy with my hair since. I will give in one day and fly to Miami just to have Paula color and Todd cut my hair. They are worth it! My Mom also went to Paula for years until she moved to the Northern part of FL. She is so unhappy with her hair and really misses Paula too. Big Apple at the beach! Ken knows color! 2/25/2006

I am from NYC and was recently transferred to Miami with work. In NY, I had been a client of master colorist, Brad Johns for years. Having blonde highlights is high maintenance enough without the added worry of the Miami sun reeking it's havoc on my hair. What an absolute pleasure and surprise it was to find Ken at Paula's Salon. It tuns out he is a recent NYC transplant as well. Not only is he a delight to deal with, but he has worked with Brad Johns himself. What a relief it was to work with a colorist who really knows color. I have seen some nightmare blondes walking around Miami. I am thrilled to have Ken and his expertise at my disposal! more

Todd Phillip Your a Hair God!!! 2/21/2006

I have been to the top salons in NY, London, and ParisI hope I can stay in Miami because if I dont I will have to make trips here to get my hair done by Todd no matter where I am or Ill have to fly him to me.!!! I loved this place!!! 2/15/2006

I went to this salon by chance and had Todd and ken do my hair, they were fantasic! Ken did really beautiful highlights and Todd cut my hair like no one has ever cut it before. While I was there I decided to get a manicure and my eyebrows shaped, Tere did my nails and Niny did my wax, one person was just nicer than the next. Bottom line I look GREAT! After 10 years as a platinum blonde I was ready for a change. A friend recommended Carol at Paula's salon to do my color. I was amazed at how skillfully she was able to transition me over the course of a few months from a bleach blonde to a brunette with warm blonde highlights. There were no ""hair disasters"" or months spent in awkward, unnatural shades of blondish-green...I've been a loyal fan ever since! Carol is pleasant, professional and highly skilled as a colorist and the salon carries great products and delicious cookies to snack on as well! Check them out! Not so sure about the manicures/pedicures 1/27/2006

I'm not sure about the hair salon, but there certainly isn't anything good to say about the manis/pedis at this place. Last time I checked, a pedicure takes place in a chair that has a foot tub attached to it. There was only a bowl filled with lukewarm water to dunk your feet in. I do think this place is sanitary, and well-maintained. The problem with this place is the high expectations I received from the high rating on this website. If it wasn't rated as the best place, I would have expected it to be average. Of course, every salon has its better and worse manicurists. Sometimes these things are hit or miss, but I think there definitely is room for improvement in the whole experience. (wait time, quality of products, customer service). I also think the low chairs are entirely inappropriate for their use in the manicure/pedicure area. Paula and Stefanie Are the Best!!! 1/16/2006

I get my hair colored by Paula and have for years. I have never been happier with my color. Stefanie has been cutting and styling my hair. I am so thrilled with her that I am having her style my hair for my wedding. Paula's Salon is an amazing place! I now live in Weston, Florida and travelling for Paula and Stefanie is well worth it!!! I went to Paula's beacuse I dont like the feel of ""big"" salons. Paula did my color and Todd cut my hair and I have to say I am just amazed. I didnt realize how good my hair could look. Paula was exceptionally nice and Todd was an absolute perfectionist. My hair is BEAUTIFUL!! Oh and they did this ionic conditioning treatment that was very cool and made my hair super shiny . I highly reccomend them, they are a great team and the staff was really down to earth. Pros: cookies and coffee more

Im a model and am very particular about who cuts my hair. I have had my hair done by the best stylist around the globe, and I am now living in Miami. My agent told me to go to this guy Todd who works at Paulas in south beach I have heard of him through other model friends of mine when I was abroad living in Parisand he is truly a world class hairstylistand everything I have been told. The salon had a very pleasant atmosphere as well, and no matter where I move to for work I will make sure to book trips back to Miami just for Todds hair cuts! Hes Fabulous! more
