highly recommended 5/19/2011

I had always heard about the cost benefits of having a student do your hair at one of the schools, but I was too nervous about the quality to ever try it. But after reading a few reviews about Rebecca (#2349) I figured it was safe since I had a person that came highly recommended. more

This place is great! Dayana did my cut and color. Jordan blow dried it. Yes, it takes longer but the students want to do their best. The service was professional and friendly. I was offered refreshments a few times and they always made sure I was happy with the service. Dayana does an amazing scalp massage while your hair is conditioning. Jordan made may hair look polished with a bit of product, a round brush, and a hair dryer. more

I had a very positive experience 5/10/2011

I had a very positive experience today. for ONLY $54 + tip I received a full weave highlight, shampoo/conditioner with a great scalp massage, and a haircut! That's dirt cheap. Granted, I arrived at 9:45 and left at 12:45, and three hours is a little long, but that's worth it for the price. Making a reservation with a Phase 2 stylist is a MUST. Lacy was my stylist today, and she seemed very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I will definitely book an appointment with her for a touch up! Don't forget the $3 valet parking! Don't do the street parking outside! more

Never a long wait 4/21/2011

Cheap. Never a long wait since a bazillion people work there. It takes a few minutes longer than somebody who has been cutting hair for 70 years, but it was only twelve bucks, so who is going to complain!? more

Sometimes, I want to come in just for the massage 4/19/2011

I have a confession. Whenever I go here, I always look forward to the ""Treatment"" by Cris P. The treatment is a scalp and neck massage that always relaxes me and blows my mind. This massage is worth way more than $12 that you'll be paying for your haircut. more

Definitely recommend this to anyone 4/13/2011

Frank did my hair. He did ok and his supervisor, Margo, came around once in awhile to advice on techniques and did the final check and touch up before blow dry/styling, and then checking after styling was done. Definitely recommend this to anyone. Even if they are students, you're quite safe because their supervisors (the real professionals) is there to make sure that your hair turns out great. more

First, it took me a whole day to get my highlighted last year, and that was chill, but Jana literally was done consulting, confirming, mixing, and putting foil in my hair all in an hour?!?!?!?!?!?! WHO DOES THAT?? and I had the most and thickest hair in that whole salon! and it came out PERFECT?!?!?!! WHO DOES THAT?? more

Yea, wutevs about the bad reviews. honestly, i this place is a great place to get hair done because theres $3 valet right at the school and you see all the new styles of hair that all the students are rocking and you get to meet JANA! She is truly a master at highlighting!!! i could still hear the other students walking by and orgasming a little at my new hair..ahah. more

The lovely Cris is the best....hands down. She was able to make my hair one solid color since I had a dark base at the crown and lighter ends from dying it blonde for so many years. At around $40 for everything....I am astounded. more

I recently had the pleasure of having my haircut by Ann D. at this fine establishment. Being that it was a school and you are getting your hair did by students i'll admit i was a bit skeptical before i walked through the door. All that skepticism was put aside once i saw the awesome number Ann did on my hair. I was going from a longer style to one much shorter and she made the transition painless. She was super friendly and there was never a lull in the conversation. plus it's only like $20. i will definitly be back here again! more
